I dont know why this happens to everyone...the kid had one decent game and everyone is on his bandwagon...what happened to wali lundy, i thought everyone thought he was going to be the next best thing also...im all in for bringing in adrain peterson if he's available, but i could also care less...i dont think ron dayne has ever been good enough, and i really dont think he diserved the heisman trophy...samkon gado is an average third down back, and dayne is only good when you can tire out a defense...he's a situational and goal line back...we need to get a playmaker in our backfield...thats the only way this offense works, is with a solid ground game...and we've never really had a solid ground game even with davis/williams healthy...we need to establish the run and then thats when the play action opens up, and then you'll see what kind of quarterback davod carr can really be...feel free to respond...

You're right, Chester Taylor is the VIKINGS' future, and present, back.

Chris Taylor, on the other hand, had a populated bandwagon since training camp.

I agree with most of what you said. You can't knock Ron Dayne's college career. He ran for over 1800 yards as a senior and is the leading NCAA rusher of all time. Adrain Peterson would be a playmaker without a doubt. Best pure running back prospect since Tomlinson and Ricky Williams. Any combo of Taylor, Dayne, Gado, Lundy and Dominick Williams isn't going to make me confident in our run game next season.

I like Chris Taylor. He reminds me of a developing DD/DW. I like his motor and it was refreshing to see a RB with vision. He stayed burried on our chart because of his innability to hold the ball.

I do like AP though, as I think he is a better LJ coming out.

You'd really be suprised what a world of difference a good OLINE can do for a running game.
