Chris Mortensen piece on the Texans

I absolutely cannot stand that they aren't allowed to show video footage of NFL football and have to resort to pictures. It was a little dry for my taste and there wasn't any analysis as much as it was just straight fact reporting. These are the guys they have, here's what's going on, end.

Oh well. Lots of media on the Texans lately, which I like.

That piece was exactly that: A piece.

No, we didn't want to see footage of them practicing. Let's watch photos and listen to voice-overs. Let's sit in the air-conditioned ESPN bus and talk coach speak for 5 minutes.

If you haven't viewed the video, don't bother wasting your time with it. Not slamming the original poster in this thread, just sayin' that us fans deserve more than what ESPN trots out. ESPN and EA Madden football must be cousins, because you get two drops of water in the desert with them.

Thanks, Mort. You really dazzled us with the in-depth coverage.

i dont think the pressure is on us its more on the Colts IMO

they play the same oppents has us and prob a harder sechudle since they play the patriots

even if we go 0-2 with the colts we could stil prob win the divison if the colts struggle

pressure is what emplodes Houston everytime they play the Colts, until Kubiak & Co. get over that hump the pressure remains on Texans :choke:

There is something fantastically sucky about the Saints, last year's champs, having the 6th-easiest schedule THIS season.

LOL.

Geez Louise.

The schedule looks brutal, no doubt
last year our schedule was as good as it's gonna get
and we failed to take advantage but at least those huge seahawks and rams wins got kubiak an extension.....

Put up or shutup Texans

The only difference in the schedule is that the Colts play at New England and are home against the Bengals. Houston has to go to the Jets and host the Ravens. Other than that they play the same opponents. Does that really seem like an easier task for Houston?

Crap... I'm worried about the Texans wanting to run the ball this season... that seems to be a big hurdle to get over is the running game. We have all seen it and we know what happened in the past with thes multiple attempts to run the ball and get no where fast. Yes, they have improved a bit last year, I just hope they continue to improve, otherwise we will not see playoffs this season.
