Carr's toss into the stands

After the beating he's taken over the last half decade, I'm OK with it if he jumps up on the rail and runs along it like a freaking squirrel ....

Best.Celebration.Ever :thumbup

Funny that a thread about a QB throwing a TD ball into the stands is already 3 pages long. Only with Carr and in Texansland is this possible.

My favorite was Barry Sanders ....... after a jaw-dropping run he'd toss the ball to the ref like throwing his socks into the clothes hamper ....
Talk about actions speaking louder than words. Barry was cool. Barry was "The Man".
In his wildest, most overly-exaggerated dreams maybe, just maybe Reggie Bush could carry Barry's JS for him.

Yup only in Texansland would someone think the .25 seconds it took Carr to throw that ball was a distration to him keeping him from preparing for the game. Man those coaches need to get rid of the Gatorade table on the sidelines--have you seen how much time those guys spend talking around the Gatorade table?

This picture's hilarious. Head bangin like an 80's rock band.:shades:

Whats funny in that picture where he looks like hes head banging hes actually throwing down his helmet after takin a very late hit and a flag wasnt thrown. it was a bad call by the refs and DC was being man handled all day cause the line couldnt block worth crap.

i say ban him for 5 games if not more- if its good enough for haynesworths unsportsmanship...its good enough for Carr's:rolleyes:

One of these days, after a touchdown, Carr will act like he's been there before. For now, the TDs are so few and far between that it's a big cause for celebration -

well, look at favre when he throws a touchdown...i think carr has that kind of passion for the game. he was so excited and he should be - he sold the run VERY well.

reminds me of some good carr runs. i think of the time he juked the saints player out of his shoes for the TD and that 36 yarder against atlanta with the hurt shoulder. and there was another where he dove and got the ball perfectly inside the pylon. and of course the famous dive and helmet toss

What game was the famous dive over the heap at the goal line? I know, I should remember, but I'm old, okay. Work with me here....

back in 2003, capers actually made a call to go for the win with a couple seconds left in the game instead of kicking a fieldgoal to tie it up.

when the ball broke the plane, touchdown!

If players can toss themselves into the stands after a TD, why shouldn't Carr be able to toss a football into the stands?

Next thing ya know, they will make it illegal for a baseball player to hit a ball into the stands!

Seriously, I expect that OFF the record Kubes didn't really mind at all, but as a coach he had to toe the line set by the NFL rules.

If nothing else, that was one hell of a fake that let him walk it into the end zone. :redtowel:

Carr is in fourth place for TDs right now, ahead of Manning and Brady. They're not that 'few and far between'.

2006 Regular Season:

When is the last time you saw Joe Montana, Tom Brady, Terry Bradshaw, Roger Staubach, Jim Kelly, etc. throw the ball into the stands?

When was the last time you saw them fake a handoff like that on a bootleg and waltz into the endzone for a TD run?

David was throwing the ball to his family's box seats. The ball evidently slipped because he didn't throw it far enough to reach the boxes. I thought it was a nice gesture though.
