I keep reading this same tired old line from many of you that . . . Capers was fired because he lost the respect of the players.
Um . . excuse me but nothing could be further from the truth. He had the utmost respect of the players every season he's been here. And they admired him this season for staying calm and level-headed despite the circumstances, and that's why they continued to play hard for him.
He got fired because they didn't win. Period.
