Why can't all of you Vince Young supporters just stop with this Young coming to Houston stuff? You Texas fans need to face reality and face the fact that David Carr is the Texans QB in the 2006 season. Sorry but it had to be said. With the new coaching staff, new lineman, possibly Moulds, new TE, and most likely Reggie Bush, David Carr will be a great QB this season and prove all of Vince Young supporters wrong. I know you didn't want to hear this but O well, sorry.

You have to understand that the majority of the VY fans have some unwarranted resentment against Carr for being signed again. They think he has had 4 seasons to prove himself, and has failed. But I personally see that it was not completely his fault... I blame it on the coaching staff. Very run bias, very conservative passing plays that made Carr's powerful arm go to waste. A deep ball thrown at a Texans game? Only when P Man is here. I agree that next year he will spawn into more of the above average QB that he should be. But every mistake he makes... VY fans will be there to remind him that there is only one person who can eat soup with a fork, and its not him.

Please know that many of us "TEXAS FANS" are also TEXANS FANS! And believe me, when I state that we have all endured four long years of CARR TROUBLE indeed.......

So if the CARR undergoes a few major repairs as they all do sooner or later......then we will gladly endure another year or two of "watching the mileage gauge"......

BUT PLEASE KNOW......that the future beholds......and if the CARR continues to malfunction, even after all of those costly repairs........then that new "V"ehicle will surely suffice all of our needs on the ROAD TO RELIANT.....
