Weekly update - you know, come eat Toro's sausage (Hobie?) - err, the "Bullpen Wrap," if there will be cheerleaders at half time, if the BPPB will meet in Bud Plaza and if so at what time... etc...

Not a word! But, I have a feeling I'm going to get a taste of the BP Pub on Sunday. I have no intention of getting sick again, so, if it's hot a hell I'll be watching the game from the rail, from the pub, or from any place I can snag a seat in the shade. Just might have to try out that new "wrap."

G-ma, it's supposed to be a very nice day. I reckon game time temp will be around the low to mid 80's with only 60-70% humidity.

We'll see HT. Unfortunately, the lower sections in the NEZ have no AC or ventilation, so 80 degrees can feel like 100. I'm game to try it though. I just have to know my limits and act like a mature adult rather than a crazed football fan! That my friend, is hard for this old gma to do!!

You're probably right. I really can't speak from experience considering the seats in my package are around the 30 yd line. I just thought I'd give ya a little weather update.

It is supposed to be about 84 degrees and very sunny. Add about 20 degrees to that figure and you will be close to the heat we will feel in those metal seats. Most people will not be able to sit in those seats, which in my opinion is good.
Wear a lot of sunscreen and drink a lot of water.

I'm not sure if this is what you're getting at, but...
Are you meaning alcohol? It really depends what kind of alcohol we're speaking of. Some alcohols in a gas tank will actually attract water and, in turn, create a corrosive mixture.

Technically speaking, if you go into an autoparts store and ask for something to evaporate water in a gas tank, I doubt they will give you pure grain alcohol or rubbing alcohol.
I know you got the point. Alcoholic beverages and heat don't mix (well). It tends to dehydrate you much quicker, hence the water reference.
