Bud Adams Sign Help

So we're making a sign for MNF and will be posting a fist-less (or maybe blurred) picture of Bud from last week. Since y'all have dealt with him before I even knew who he was - what are some good slogans for this sign?

(hopefully more Texans fans will get this than understood the Kanye one)
 
Here's one I made a few years ago. I gave it to Preston so he could get it on TV since he sits on the first row of the Bullpen. It shows a bald headed Bud Adams and an assortment of wigs that can be placed on his head.

"No Pud Adams, You're not #1"


Reference a MNF game in which an Oiler fan shot the bird to the camera and "Dandy" Don Meredith responded by saying the fan said his team was #1.

I know, too obscure. You have to be old to remember that incident.
 
I think "This birds for you, Bud" is rather funny. It references a Budweiser commercial, wraps up his actions and the way we feel about him all in one.
 
How about:

"Warning: It's Bird Hunting Season in Texas"
(I believe it's currently duck & geese season right now)

Or you could do a picture of elmer fud and say "We're hunting birds"

Or how about...."Hey Bud - Pull my finger"

or "Hey Bud - You're number 2"

or "Two birds in the hand = $250K"
 
Before I get out of here I will throw an honest to goodness suggestion out for public improvement. People are always getting on TV because they have a sign highlighting the host station's call letters, in this case ESPN. I know getting on the tube might or might not be a concern here, but........

Years ago MNF was in Tampa. Someone had a huge sign with Howard Cosell's face on it and something nice written (I forget)

As soon as they knew they were on tv the sheet with the niceness dropped and it said "Howie Sucks" on it. The booth went silent.

If somehow you could pull that off..

Something like "Thanks Bud" that drops to the bird?
 
I gave up on the ESPN sign b/c well, no good ideas - and believe it or not, I'm not going to force a sign just to try to get on TV.

I may go with:

Hey Bud:

This bird's

*picture of a live turkey*

for you!

Budweiser slogan, the holiday season, AND how we feel :)

(Showtime, I do like your sign suggestion for ESPN, lol)
 
I just thought about the "this birds for you Bud"
I hope it works and gets on TV and people actually get it!
 
Woo, Im glad you're going with the "This birds for you!" If you make it on tv, I can tell my wife that my time on the mssageboard is productive!
