It's gone from baffling to amazing now when a VY hugger shows up to talk about how great of a football player he is. 8 years it's been since he's been drafted and it's been about that many teams that he's bounced around to.

Now he's getting cut so that Connor Shaw has a spot in camp to throw a few balls.
 
Wow is that five teams in four seasons? At this point if think he'd hang it up but how can he realty be worse than some of the really bad backups out there? Can this guy just not grasp an offense?

After reading some of the comments at texags, I am encouraged that there may be less Aggies in the stands next season at NRG Stadium because the Texans did not draft Manziel.

It was reported that this was the reason he was cut from the Packers. He would have been the back up and would have started, when Rodgers went down, but he could not memorize the playbook. He was screwing up the play calls in the huddle, from what the radio guys were saying..

no matter how much talent you have, no matter how fast you can run, how far you can throw...

You can't fix stupid....

I know young is not bright in fact I'd say he's closer to dumb than not but I seriously he can't beat out the likes of some of these scrubs? It makes his blowing of his fortune all the more stunning.

Vince Young will work for the University of Texas if football career is over

Former Tennessee Titans quarterback Vince Young, who has yet to land another job in the NFL, said if his football career is over he will transition to a job with his alma mater, the University of Texas.

"If it doesn't work out with me with football right now, the university has a great job for me as well," Young said in an interview with FOX 26 Sports and the Houston Chronicle.

"Just being like an ambassador. Doing a lot of speaking engagements. Just letting you know what we have going on, especially helping kids get scholarships and recognizing things like that. Whatever it is, I just want to be a supporter of the university.
