Broncos Vs Texans Game thread

Foreman again for a good stop. Wasn't foreman scored on on the last Griffin TD?

The one thing making me wonder is earlier they said the Broncos first team offense hasn't scored a touchdown this preseason, so far they have 2 on us.

Still horrible on long 3rd down conversions. That is troubling.

Okay, from what I've seen posted so far... lemme catch up...

- Babin has a stomach muscle strain I beleive.
- Starling is impressing me more for a 5th spot.
- No pressure on Plummer?!?! Missing Babin now ain't ya?
- Think any "fire Palmer" threads come up after this?
- Yeah, Denver 1st offense didn't score any TDs... but there defense didn't allow any either, I believe (in the first quarter).
- seems either runner has it, when the zone blocking works well... and this game, there's been some good examples.

... and Faggins just intercepts!!!!!

once again no 3rd down conversion. STOP running Carr!!!!! Make a play with the football, not with your legs.

So that was what, 33 seconds to turn it over.... offense will be working on that situation in the future, need to be ready for those.

My thoughts so far

D Davis was very impressive
Armstrong has been impressive
The blocking for Carr is horrible
Robinson is getting schooled
Our defense will be much better with Payne, Walker, and Babin in there
Starling looks tenative as a returner

I've been happy with the Texans showing up and playing pretty well in the first half. Especially considering that Casserly said they weren't able to gameplan for the game. I hope it carries over to the second half when the backups get more snaps. Armstrong had two really great catches, and Bradford has made an appearance. :thumbup DD is looking excellent from what little we got to see of him, and the line is playing much better than agaisnt the Steelers.

Agree on all points... O-line gave what, 2 sacks... flip side, they've been doing some good zone blocking for the run.

In addition...
- Carr is looking more like a leader and like he belongs this year already.
- Good to see we have some other WR ... other than AJ
- Denver can't sellout their first home opener.
- Bradford has been impressive, glad to see he's had some looks

win one, lose one, win one.... 8-8 range is looking more like a definte every week.

I thought I heard that they did game plan since this is the game where our starters will see the most action...maybe I'm wrong on this

I'm not able to watch the game, so could someone please tell me who got beat by T. Pryce for the 2 sacks?

That's just the norm, but from what CC said they weren't able to gameplan. Perhaps Capers was busy chewing the guys out for the Steeler game.

Well, if they didn't game plan for this... I'm even moreso impressed.

My thoughts exactly. They're going up and down the field on the Broncos defense pretty easily. I was even more impressed with Bradford being able to get loose from Champ Bailey a couple times.

Anderson's running for Denver now, I guess QG is gonna be the starter then for to try and keep their RB streak alive in the reg. season.

Appears 1st string offense will start be substitued as well next series with Banks warming up.

Good showing 1st team!!!! Much better than last week, even better than the first week I would say.

Not a bad return by Gaff.

wheres gaffney? wheres any te? wheres marcus coleman?

Gaffney's done a few returns (interesting). Coleman has done a decent job at FS... made some tackles to help out Robinson.
