Broncos vs Texans: Battle Red Game Day Thread

so I go looking around for my Battle Red Schaub jersey last night and I can't find it. PANIC! last time I wore it was in Las Vegas, so...a quick call to the dry cleaners this morning has located the missing jersey and I'll be able to wear it with pride this evening.

turns out a new employee had miscounted the clothes and the jersey was not with my other items.

I will be dawning my Battle Red t-shirt this evening and hope to give Andre Johnson a pat on the back when he jumps into the crowd after scoring one of his many touchdowns this evening :)

I just took my final yesterday...six essay questions and a presentation. Needless to say, my brain was jello last night.

Hooah.

i haven't been this excited about a game in a while. only problem is every time i get my hopes up on a game, the texans have dashed them 'gainst the rocks like the unwanted children of royalty.

I have been pumped all week too, and talking it up to everyone I know. I feel the same way, I am trying not to get super excited because I don't want to be let down. But we can win this thing, we are coming off a strong performance and you know these guys want to show out on National TV.

I can't make this game but I am having my on little mini-tailgate at the house. I stop at HEB last night and picked up:

filet mignon
T-bone steak
stuffed jalapeno wrapped in bacon
and through in chicken I already had at home, and it all has been marinating over night.

It's going to be on tonight......:fans:

hoping for the best but im not confident- denver look better on paper and have played well the last few weeks (bar 2 weeks ago)

cant watch it because ive an exam but il catch the recording tomorrow

I wouldn't worry too much about how they look on paper....I just want to know who has the bigger heart tonight....and the verdicT is in.....WE DO!!!

haha of course but i was confident v the bucs- even predicted a win... this loooks like a good denver team who are finding their feet
 
Going to be a good game I think, the Broncos are fairly healthy at the moment in comparison to where we are at so it will take a huge effort from our guys to get up.... still I think we can do it.

Looking forward to seeing how they look in there all red unis as well.
 
no drinking for me, I'm on call this week. I sure hope my beeper doesn't go off during the game!

This actually works out perfectly for me. I've got to go to the Cowboys game on Sunday. I was going to have to miss this game if it was on Sunday. Or... I would have had to mysteriously catch some sort of 24 hour illness of some sort so I could stay home and watch.

I'm sad - just as I was leaving (I am in the exam room) - NFLN kicked off their pregame - Texans and Broncos highlights set to music. Aaaaaaaaand, then I left for this exam.
 
Not sure if posted yet, they just said on NFL network if we lose we're officially eliminated from playoff contention. Don't think we're going to make the playoffs this year, but it would be nice to keep the dream going for another week. Go Texans!:texflag:
 
I'm at work right now hoping to get home in time to see the start. The game should be on on Channel 20 which used to be UPN. Anyway, I'm excited for this game because it has huge implications for both teams. But it's important for our team to learn how to win these big games and develop towards becoming a playoff team.
 
this weeks gonna be the 1st game i actually get to catch on TV - heading to a friends house with direct tv :fans: ...radio just doesn't do it

I would love to see the AFC South dominate the playoff slots, with us and not Tenn of course :), but realistically i see it as Jags (or Colts), and the browns as wildcards
 
Cmon Texans, this is the game I have been waiting for all year!
As a Texans fan living in Denver, I have to hear about the Broncos all the time. Lets get a W and shut up the Broncos!
