Hey guys, I am a Bronco's fan from Www.Broncosfreak.com and i just wanted to talk about the upcoming draft. I have a good feeling you guys will end up with the first overall pick next year and as everyone knows by now Bush is going to be that pick.
I do realize that Bush is an ubeleivable talent, but i also beleive there are many holes for you guys to fill on both sides of the ball. All of a sudden it hit me, we have 2 1st rounder next year... I was thinking maybe our two franchises could come up with a deal that looked something like this-
Denver Gives-
1st Rounder this year (From Washington)
1st Rounder this year
2rd Rounder This year
Cooper Carlisle
Ashley Lelie
Houston Gives-
1st Rounder #1 Overall
We would get one of the best running prospects to come out of college in quite some time behind an amazingly athletic OLine. He could be something special in our system (Not to say that he isnt something special already.
) Also Shanny loves running those no men in the backfield plays where the RB goes out to the WR position, this is something Bush can do much better than Bell.
This would give you two first rounders to use on offensive linemen (D'brick, Mcneil, Winston) or maybe a stud defensive linemen (Kiwi, Williams, Hali, Lawson). Cooper Carlisle is an above average guard who is a starter for us. He could easiely step in and really help you guys out. Also Ashley Lelie would give you guys a very solid #2 receiver behind Andre Johnson.
I think you guys are a few links away from being a contending team. You do have a ton of young talent in young guys like Carr, Davis, Johnson and Robinson.
Well let me know what ya think fellas, this is just a blueprint of what i think the trade could look like im sure it could be switched up if needed.
Also i wanted to bring up the idea of maybe our Offensive Co-ordinator Gary Kubiak stepping in and being your guy's head coach next season? He would be a good fit and has been doing an outstanding job for us for a while. I beleive he deserves a head coaching job somewhere in the NFL.
