Brady Quinn

He's listed at 4.4. His coaches say he will put out 4.3 at the combine. We will know for sure in a few months. What we know right now is that he is a physical specimen with a sufficient body of work, he will make some team very happy.
when a guy is listed as a 4.4 in college, it generally means he's a 4.5. in fact, i've never heard the opposite occur. because it doesn't.

i saw a stat at the combine where all but ONE player was taller than the height their school listed. everyone else was either shorter or the same. EVERYONE ELSE. schools lie. simple as that.

So you went back and looked at what every one was listed at by there school....and then cross-referenced it by what the combine resluts were???

And all this over a .1 second....

uh, no. i said during the combine (the coverage on NFL Network), they said that all but one player was shorter or equal to their school-listed heights.

You didn't say you saw that in your original quote...You said :

BIG difference...now it's they said...

If you haven't seen Calvin Johnson play you really need to....IMHO, he will be THE best player in this draft and probably THE best player to come along in a while....He is a physical freak...and if the Texans are in position to draft him I will be upset regardless of need or what not....him opposite A.J...OMG.....that would be nuts...with Moulds mentoring...

Wpw, I'm sorry, but we better have the best passing team in the league if a our time probowler is the 3rd option. That'd be pretty freaky.

That's fair and I wouldn't doubt that schools will embelish their players' measurements. That might be a bit different as Tech coaches never said CJ ran a 4.3 for them but said that he will at the combine. I seem to remember hearing that there were some adverse curcumstances on his 4.4 run (ie bad field) but that could be a figment of my imagination as I remember hearing it but have nothing in print to back it up.

Either way, the numbers will speak for themselves and I don't think anyone is arguing that this guy is not a great athlete.
