Texans | Bradford Injures Hamstring, Status Uncertain
Thu, 29 Sep 2005 15:31:34 -0700

Megan Manfull, of the Houston Chronicle, reports Houston Texans WR Corey Bradford (hamstring) suffered an injured hamstring at the end of practice Thursday, Sept. 29. The severity of the injury is not yet known and he will be reevaluated Friday, Sept. 30. His status for Week 4 is up in the air at this time.

Ok so everyone is getting their wish to sit Bradford and let the rookie display what he can (can't do). Everyone has got to really step it up this week, including the rookie.

The article also stated that Gaffney would be starting in his place. As far as I'm concerned, it should be Armstrong starting in Bradford's place.

Armstrong will see plenty of action. I'd like to see the rookie Mathis on the field, as well.

It may change under Pendry, but the "starter" at the 2nd WR for the Texans really has not played any more than the 3rd guy and in some weeks the 4th WR. At least, I won't get to hear the whining about Bradford.

I would love to see Mathis on the field. About time to see what he's all about. Been riding the "Hammy" excuse for long enough now!

I surprised he didn't pull a hammy catching more than two passes a few week ago. I think he actually had 3 catches.

i would hardly think a hamstring injury is an excuse. they are a legit injury that definitely does not take a couple weeks to fully recover from if its severe enough

i cant wait to see what mathis can do. he's probably one of the fastest in the NFL, it should be exciting to watch.
