Some of the other gifts would be worth more. I would rather have the $400 Best Buy gift card and I could buy what I wanted. You can get a 20 Vizio LCD TV for cheaper than that...

Just kind of an off the wall thought. NCAA rules prevent them from taking gifts, yet they can at the bowls??? Kind of two faced IMO that when it benifits the NCAA to have them play and generate money for the NCAA it's OK, but if they do it on their own, they smack them around. A 20 inch TV with surround isn't a trivial gift. Usually that sort of thing is capped at $20-$40 in value for gifting in the public sector (most private also). Don't get me wrong, I like the kids getting some "Bling" for their hard work. I just think the NCAA is talking out of both sides of their mouth.

I thought I read that the boots will be custom fit, and made out of whatever animal skin the player chooses (that Nocona carries) so that's an easy 200-300 dollars.

When you add all that to the fact that your bowl game is in Hawaii, that's a pretty sweet deal.
