Blue Crew

Blue Crew still going ?

They probably are, but most of those posters left the board.

Texan Bill still comes around here from time to time. You could shoot him a PM and he'd likely know. I think him and JB were good friends if I'm not mistaken.

YankeeinTX and Glass Half Full were always regulars there and neither has been on this board in years.

I sold my regular-season tickets this year, so I only saw the gang in pre-season. It feels weird without Joe there.

I've heard they've lost a few regulars . I was going to try to get there at the Atlanta game but didn't make it . Parked in the red lot and the Bud Light plaza drew the attention of my son and his buddy .

Grandma is still there, Preston shows up every once in a while.

Have not seen AJ in years.

Tell Sandy hello for me next time you see her. I remember that Alan moved to another lot even back when I was still living there. I remember it being close because I would often walk from the Blue Crew to go visit him.

Someday I’ll come visit you guys. BTW, the Texans will be here in December.

Glass Half Full is in the back drinking Battle Red Kool Aid. Lol!

Joe was always in character. That brings back a ton of fun memories. I'm just glad that I survived that era of my life. I used to leave my home in Austin at 7 to get there with the Blue Crew at 9:30 in the morning. The drive home was always rough, especially after tailgating all day and enduring mostly disappointing games. I recall almost dozing off a couple of times, once on a 2 lane, 2 way highway. That could have ended badly.

Living here I am only across the bay from the stadium (about 30 minutes). I tailgate on a pirate ship and if it's late game I always bring my iPad to watch the Texans on the early game. Enduring disappointing games is still a thing, however, it's not as bad when the drive is only 30 minutes and I am returning to the beach.

BTW, if anyone is coming to Tampa for the Texans game in December let me know. I'll get you into one of the most unique tailgate places in the NFL.

That sounds like a fun tailgate.

There used to be this video online of drunk Joe doing Oline drills with this big black dude while tailgating and acting silly in the parking lot. Wish I could find it. It was funny as hell. Joe was a character like no other. He used to get the NSZ going like nobody's business back in the day. Lol!

Toronto came into town and we hit the Atlanta game with Corrosion. We were hoping to get in some tailgating time with the Blue Crew, but couldn't really get a response from anyone, so we just did our own thing. Good to know they're still going, though.

Any one going to be around the BC this Sunday vs. the Steelers. I am coming for this game and will stop by and say hi, can't miss JJ going into the ring of honor!

BC still around? It’s been a minute since I hung out with y’all. I’m coming in for the game and bringing my Bronco buddy. If so, let me know where y’all are now, if you’ll have us.

That was at Klein's Fine Jewelers on Westhiemer. They would have events when they used to advertise on 610.

I tried to talk him out of it.

Did you make it to any tailgating?
Hi JB, yes I did go tailgating with some of my dad’s colleagues, I was Handed a Bloody Mary at 8.15a.m and a Mimosa before that was done, followed by plentiful amounts of Bud Light which went down far too easily in the heat, so I did not make it to Blue Crew this time around.

I loved being there at NRG, and the tailgating atmosphere was so different to anything we have in the UK!

What a great day!

My brother and I will be attending our first game on the 27th vs Indy. Where is the best spots for newbies to hangout?
