The Big 12 will be sending most likely their seventh place team to New York for the Yankee Bowl, to be played at Yankee Stadium against the third or fourth place team from the Big East. Last Year would most likely have been Kansas vs West Virginia or Rutgers.
Seems like basically a road game for the Big 12, although it can't hurt for exposure.
