Big 12 Championship game

Looking forward to the game, a huge proposition for the Huskers but I'm hoping our D can keep us in it.

Go Big Red.

I think Nebraska D will keep the game close in the first three quarters, but their offense can't keep up with Texas.

I also think McCoy is a man on a mission after seeing him carry the team past A&M.

UT 35-21

Try UT 62 Cornholes 10 (if that):breakdance:

I think your both a bit off. I'd be shocked if the Huskers score 21 points but equally shocked if we concede 62.

The realist in me says something like 28-10 Texas, the hopeless dreamer in me says 16-14 Big Red.

no matter the outcome, we will be told by announcers that Shipley and McCoy are roommates...for the 113,476th time! :wild:

Think we will find out that their dads went to school together, became high school football coaches, coached their own kids, and now there are another set of McCoy and Shipley coming to Austin?!

You know what, my high school coach ran his whole offense as the Huskers did and I was QB 1998-2001. I actually took the Pirates to the playoffs in '99 and lost to Crockett 42-0 sadly but true, the Pirates haven't been to the playoffs since 1972...:ahhaha:

Long story short, Huskers Offense sux and the Longhorns will prevail...:doot:

The fix is obviouslu in, UT thought they had the spot bought but somebody reminded the refs there's a big audience.

'Bama crushes the defending national champs and UT gets a team with a junior high school offense in its championship game. Another gemmie for the Longhorns. Surely they won't blow it ?

I dunno, but if I was coaching the 'Huskers I'd go with the ole single-wing.
Afterall everyone knows they can't throw the ball and have to run it. They're like an opponent with only one-arm.
In the meantime Natti, TCU, and Boise State all look like better comp for 'Bama. How big of a margin does UT have to win by to get voted into the big game ?

1 point. I think its pretty much a win and you are in for Texas. I mean they are #3 right now. #2 beat #1. Look at the BCS numbers. They would have to lose a lot of human support because the computers will move them up to 3.

Does it not make any difference that 'Bama and FLA are both clearly better than UT, no matter their record ?
BTW, how does Suh not win the Heisman ?

Texas has as good a defense as Alabama.

it's close, but statistically speaking, both TCU and Alabama are ranked with better total defenses than Texas. really a tough stat to use for comparison with different conferences being compared.

Suh is clearly "the most outstanding player in college football".

I don't see how anyone can deny that.

It's like watching Mike Tyson maul a crippled child every time they try to block him with one lineman.

This game is painful to watch.

If Texas can't do any better than this against 'bama's defense, the national championship game is going to be a joke.

Yeah, he'd look good in a Texans uniform. How much of a gamble is it to trade up for him, with all our needs?

The Longhorns are playing like they did against the Red Raiders last year...They better watch their **** or they will lose this game...:mcnugget:

i have a bad feeling about this game.. Texas has blown some chances when they had them

this is a pretty damn entertaining game

Great game for anybody who loves defense. Lots of exciting plays from both teams.

The Texans don't have the ammo to move up to #1.

Suh is an amazing college player, but he still needs to develop a lot before he can dominate at the NFL level. Mentally he's no further along than Okoye, and physical talent can only get you so far.
