Should the Texans take a look at Bennie Anderson? He entered the league as an undraftee with the Ravens in 2001 and has started around 60 games in his career. He is fairly young at 28 and is huge at 6-5 345 lbs. He would be a great addition to the line. Thoughts?



Are you guys down on Dominick Davis? I think he is a great back in the NFL. He was inconsistant, but he has only played for 2 years and has rushed over 1000 yards both times. Great steal in the 4th round for yall. I think you should keep him. But are there trade rumors going around about him? What teams are intrested?



How is Jabbar Gaffney? I am a Tampa Bay fan and I frequently go on boards all the time and they ALWAYS bring down a Gator receiver. They think that since Travis Taylor, Reidel Anthony, Jaquez Green, Ike Hilliard, and others have failed means that every Gator receiver will fail. I like Gaffney but is he just another Gator flop?


Are you guys intrested in Rod Gardner since he is available? He is an okay receiver and would get many passes seeing that Andre Johnson will always be double covered.
 
Gaffney had his best season to date and is really going to have to step it up this year to prove he's #2 caliber. He did make some excellant catches this past year.

No there arn't any trade rumors about DD, there is just a certain poster :loser on this board that thinks we should get rid of him and sign the highest FA.

:thumbdown :thumbdown They should do something to get rid of him! Slow Slow Slow! I am HUGE Jamal fan hes the greatest RB in the leage struggle alittle last year because of his ***** coach but big fan! Use to really like the Ravens then I got sick of Ray Lewis's Mouth!

I think he would be a good addition to the line at the right price...He won't be a starter here, but if he can collapse the pocket while Seth is getting a breather, I'd like to see him here...

There are no trade rumors about Davis...We may not all think that he's the right back for this team, but nobody thinks DD will be traded anytime soon...

Gaffney had a good season last year except for a couple really bad plays...He's not a flop, but he's not a superstar either...He's probably going to be a slot receiver for us, possibly number 2 receiver if we don't get someone else in the draft...

I don't know if the organization is interested, but personally, I'm not interested in him...He's basically Jabar Gaffney, plus a higher cap number...

The saving grace of Jabar is that he's not a Gator receiver drafted in the first round. Given that he has been able to do what we have asked of him, I don't think he will be flopping soon.

Oh yeah, wasn't that Yatil guy a Gator receiver? Either way, what a major flop he was.
 
Jabar led the team with a 15.4 yards per catch average and had the longest play from scrimage at 69 yards. Every time he caught a 3rd down pass he had a first down. He gives us a solid starter in the slot. Carr will look for him more next season I'm sure.

Bennie Anderson plays RG. He is an average run blocker and a revolving door in pass protection. His weight is up to around 360 now.

:thud: I saw that weight and assumed he was a NT, but you know what happens when you assume...

If he's as bad as you say, then I don't want him anywhere near us...I'd rather see Milford Brown on the field...
