If Gabe Carimis goal was to find a new team by staying away from the Chicago Bears voluntary offseason program, consider it mission accomplished.
The Bears have traded the former first-round draft pick to the Tampa Bay Buccaneers, multiple sources told the Tribune. The trade was first reported by the Sun-Times. The departure of Carimi means the Bears are now without any first-round draft picks selected by former general manager Jerry Angelo, who ran drafts from 2002 through 2011. Carimi is scheduled to take a physical with the Bucs on Monday.
