One of our 3rds? We have two 4ths, not two 3rds. But still, I like getting Clay Matthews. He's one of several I'd be happy with in the 1st round.

Corrected. Thanks Thorn. Wishful thinking. I was seeing double after that mock. This is one of the hardest draft classes to mock because the lack of standout players.

Josh McDaniels stated today in his pre draft presser he's standing pat where he is and taking defense. Might be smoke.

Orakpo, Curry and Brown are sliding......Maybin is sliding worse. Ty Jackson is said to be a canidate for the #3 over all. Go figure. Lombardi of NFLn said he reminds him of Kevin Carter....his words not mine.

Saint Louis is said to be hot for andre smith now.

The hotest Player seems to be Sanchez. And since there is no deal in place as of Friday night......that might be the best thing they could do is take Sanchez and hold someone up for his services. Washington.....N.Y. Jets are interested. And anyone who wanted one could probably move up with one of the two though eight guys for two six packs and a ham sandwich now. No one wants to pay the signing bonus.

The ESPN guy said they have the deal with Stafford worked out....they are stuck on the spread of the signing bonus....Detroit wants to spread it out over the life of the contract. Stafford's folks want it up front cut into two equal payments in '09 & 10.

& ps we already have one of these up. thanks for looking.
