hell as many players as the Texans have provided for Baltimore, they ought to give Brown to the Texans as a gift...


what is wrong with him to be on the trading block?
 
I really liked him coming out but if Baltimore has had him for 2 years and don't want him then I'm not sure I want him either.
 
Most thought the Texans were targeting him in the second round a couple of years ago but the Ravens jumped ahead and took him and we wound up with Swearinger. Aren't the Ravens pretty deep at ILB? I'd definitely be interested in Brown.
 
I remember a lot of people liked him coming out of college. No idea what happened to him, because I stopped tracking him in Balty.

Didn't the Ravens draft CJ Mosely just this year? If so they're probably looking to shop some of their depth.
 
Yeah they drafted Mosley and have Daryl Smith who they just extended. Probably looking to get a WR, RB, or CB I'd guess. I'd definitely give up our second or third for him. Doubt they'd be interested in anything we could offer player-wise.

maybe they are deep at that position and dangling him to find another running back...

I too am curious as to why they would trade him but hey one teams junk is another teams treasure sometimes....

I liked him in college, but I also wondered if Brown would be a fit inside in the 3-4. He might be better served working in space as a 4-3 Will.
 
With Ray Rice gone and NOT coming back after 2 games like they had planned, they're stuck with Bernard Pierce (who hasn't looked good), a rookie, and our old friend, Justin Forsett.

Let's trade them Ronnie Brown. :kubepalm:

I'd prefer to keep Grimes but we could trade him, too.
