Looks pretty good. I have a hard time believing Stafford is the 6th best player though. I'm really not a fan of his.

Against my better judgment, I put him up there.

What position you play also affects my rankings. The top QB's and OT's will be ranked higher than the top OG's.

So by being my #1 ranked QB, Stafford rose a few spots because of how crucial that position is.

Well position always plays a big part in the draft anyways so he will be picked high regardless. I don't think he is worthy of a high pick, but by nature of being the "#1 ranked QB" he will go high.
 
It's so hard to make a list like this since the players all play different positions and each team has different needs. I'd move Raji up to about #7 and I'd move Chung up to the mid 20's. Hopefully the Texans can get 3 players off this list.

Hey Bah, you know who I think the best over all player is in this draft? Moreno.

He just has the look and feel of a back that will be great for many years. I know that no one would put him up there like that though simply because he is a RB, and these days people don't covet the position like that anymore, but I think that Moreno is the best over all player, although many will disagree.

As far as the best player in the draft goes, I would have to say either Jason Smith or Curry. Those guys seem to almost be locks to be great players.

I like Moreno. I like Wells better. Wells' combination of size and speed could be deadly if the injury bug stops biting him. Moreno is a complete weapon though. He isn't a home run hitter but he will get you solid yards and help you out in the passing game.

You know though Bah, it's not always the fastest guys that are the HR hitters in the NFL a lot of times. Moreno has some blazing speed in pads though man, which is a lot different that your average 40 time at a combine you know. Moreno hit HR's all of the time in college and was just great in the passing game as well. I think he'll be a clean up batter at RB for sure. :thumbup

To me, it was, and is still Curry that is my top player in this draft. I might be way off base here, but Curry's physique, speed and intelligence is what any team would want in a LB. He has had the fewest questions of any prospect this year.

If he falls it'll tell me that teams are full of crap when they say they'll take the BPA. Which I think is BS to begin with. BPA at the position of need is more like it.

His COD and agility are top notch. That's why he was able to get past a lot of college players.

I don't think that will change. He will still get past people. The only difference in the pros will be that he will get caught from behind instead of scoring.

He will also be a huge weapon in the passing game for the right team.

I'm definitely not criticizing him. I would love to have a guy that is just as likely to catch a swing pass and get 30 yards out of it as he is to consistently get 5 yards between the tackles.

Curry is a top four lock imo.

If the Lions really take Stafford then I expect the Rams to take Jason Smith.

Then, if the Chiefs don't take Curry the Seahawks will have their card at the podium in ten seconds with his name on it.

I don't really view prospects as this round or that round. i look at them as Starters, Rotational (Part-time RB, Nickel DB, 3rd down rusher, etc), project, and finally Depth. The project varies from how long I think it will be before he starts (2-3 years). The Depth guy is a special team player or a guy that can fill the gap for short periods of time due to another players injury.

There are people farther down the list who I think can help us now. There are some in the top 20 PLAYERS who can't start for us. I like Matthews as a player, but I think it is year 2 before he would start for us.

On the other hand, you take a guy like MACK, he could start for us for the next 10 years. But the draftnicks say it is too high to draft him at 15. This makes little sense to me. Why is the OLB position worth more than the captain of your OL? UNGER, Eric WOOD, LEVITRE, MOORE, and CHUNG all start for us day one, IMHO.

This is why I have CUSHING ahead of MATTHEWS. I think he could start at SLB for us day one. I am not bad-mouthing MATTHEWS. I like him, but I think it will take time for him to start for uS.

In reference to Mark Parson.. I got him with the 128th pick (4th round) for the Steelers in our mock draft. :)

No, but Parsons makes up for it with his instinct. His athleticism does make me question his future, but like DJ Moore, I think it's the intangibles that made them the players they were in college.

I could see that; I think he'd do pretty good in that defense.

I really like the selection of corners that will be available with our 4th and 5th round picks. We could get at worst a nickel or dime back out of this draft.
