Bad News Cowboy haters...Thanks Giving

Ladies and gents as those of you here know I LOATHE the Dallas Cowboys and watch their games to cheer for whomever they're playing. This Thursday they're playing Cam Newton and the UNDEFEATED Panthers. Okay. I shall be cheering for the the Panthers BUT...this is the game they drop.
On offense, defense and special teams the Panthers have this game. EVERYONE is going to pick them INCLUDING the MAMAs of several Cowboys. The Cowboys are still a touch giddy from their last win and are under the delusion that they're "back" because Romo is. They will be playing their A game.
Carolina on the other hand is looking on the other side of the ball and seeing some guys who BARELY have 3 wins. They probably barely glanced at game film and weren't putting any real energy into practice. Newton because of his massive ego will take this game seriousously only because he'll be on every TV in America, the rest of the team will be very relaxed...TOO relaxed.

Dallas will be clumsy but come out strong and will capitalize from the mental errors of lazy Panthers. There might be lead changes but at the end Dallas will eek out a win with a last second feild goal or extra point, or luck up and get one in the end zone in overtime. Cowboys by 1

for the record predicting a Cowboy win makes me sick to my stomach.
 
The "experts" have made the Cowboys a 2 point favorite, last I saw. And that has made the Panthers and Coach Rivera very mad. Everything points to a Cowboys win, but I think (hope) the Panthers curb stomp em!
 
I'm not taking anything away from a very good Panthers team, and all I have to say is however the game ends I will be there 100% with a big Margarita representing Cowboys Nation. :)

As a good fan should be.

I've never hated the Cowboys as some do, but was VERY angry with how they handled letting Landry go.

But they were my first team as I watched them in back to back NFL Championship games against the Packers. That Game after the big one was more like a Pro Bowl Game is now. Who would have thought it would become what it has?

Being the only Football team I could watch because the CBS signal was strong enough was part of it. The NBC signal was weak and even as late as 1971 when I became an Oiler fan, it was more audio than video because of the snow in the reception. Kids have no idea what it was like dealing with reception problems in the early days of TV.

Ha ha ha I remember back when we had a 75 ??? Foot antenna to pick up the three stations in Dallas & the one in Tyler.

Yes over time I've had to grin and bear it with my team, but they are my football family & and family somehow manage to take it all in stride.

That was the reason why I hated the Cowboys. Because for some reason, the local CBS affiliate assumed that anyone living in Houston wanted to watch the Cowboys EVERY F'CKING WEEK. So, if they were going to jam the Cowboys down my throat, then I would root of them to lose, with a passion. That America's Team crap didn't endear me either. It's like they were consciously looking for ways to get me to hate them more and more. That has continued to this day.

I say all this, because for the first time in my life, or at least the first time I can remember, TODAY, I actually will be honestly rooting for them to win.

Why? Because I absolutely detest Cam Newton's (Superman) antics.

So, (holding my nose) GO COWBOYS!!

Last place in their division with the other 3 teams ahead of them all still in the hunt. Why they enjoy looking up into the gaping azz-cavity of a 70-year old man I dunno, I don't get it ? Jerry J. is pathetic, sad old man. I kinda feel sorry for him. Come be an Eagles fan, a team with some class.

Well, both our divisions are pretty bad compared to all others. I can imagine some of the teams with much better records wish they were in either of our divisions.

A 70 year old who has made his share of mistakes, but OMG, he has had more than his share of successes on and off the field.

As far is a fan goes, if I really had to choose someone from my division, it would be the Redskins. It would be rather bad if the team's class matched the class of their fans.
