don't you mean 2 more days until Moss gets off for 180 yards and 2 TDs as the Vikes work the girls over? Not just smack talk, I'll throw in a fact or two as well for good measure. 3 receivers stand to gain the most out of the new "no hands " rule. Moss, TO, and H. Ward IMO. Newman is smaller than Moss and is going to make life hard on him for 60 minutes on Sunday. Vikes win 24-14.
 
They'll most likely move Moss around, and Parcells will probably keep Newman on the left side regardless, so I look for Hunter to get schooled a few times as well. Hunter was quoted somewhere as saying that he thought that him on Moss this weekend should be a good matchup :crazy:
 
Yes I'm ready. I'm anxious to see how Vinny does, I'd love to see Jones take over at RB and I'm looking for defensive line upgrade.

I do think CB is a concern and Moss is a premier receiver so that will be trouble.

The Vikings are a solid team so it will be a great way to start off the season and see what happens.

I do feel the Cowboys missed some opportunities on improving their defensive backfield this year.
 
Moss owns the Cowboys. I think ESPN mentioned he has like 8 TD's and some ungodly number of yards over the course of his career against them. I'm sure that Moss will eat them up with Woodson out. The Cowboys D-Line better have an excellent showing if they want to have the slightest chance of slowing Culpepper and Moss down. Wonder if Moss will make the highlight reel on Sports Center? :rolleyes:

Yeah I was shocked when BP didnt do anything with the backfield this off season. Without doubt I thought they would sign a vet to replace Edwards. Also I was shocked when Dallas didnt resign Edwards. Parcells must see something in Hunter that we didnt see this pre season.
Reguardless I look forward to seeing the under dog Hunter will do against the Mighty Moss.

Man, it's very unlikely but think about how sweet it would be if Moss didnt score one touchdown
 
I am ready! I am soooo excited that we now have a COACH and am anxious to see the development plan for this year. I already have tickets in hand for Thanksgiving and December 26th.

You're delusional if you think Minnesota will only score 24 points this weekend. I'm just thankful the guy I'm playing against in my football league doesn't have Moss or Culpepper.

And yeah, sure...I'm ready. Can't wait 'till next year.
 
I am ready because I have Moss on one of my Fantasy Football teams and thank goodness because I got to play Vinny this week in one of my leagues and he has Jamal Lewis and Lewis is playing the Browns....


Moss is going to torch the Cowboys defense, but he will probably torch us too...

I don't know what they were thinking. I surely expected some type of activity in the free agent market or picking up somebody off of the waiver wire or perhaps even a trade. I don't want to play armchair QB because I'm no good at that game but one has to wonder!

I don't care for Moss but he is a tremendous talent and fun to watch.

I would think they'd put Newman on Moss all the time. Maybe I'm not correct there.
 
I thought they would get Bobby Taylor in FA
It suprised me that they didn't even though he is from the Dallas area

At least it looks like Ogden will be out for the game. That may give you a little bit of an edge if Moss burns up the Dallas secondary. Just hope for no pass rush from the Cowboys, and you'll definately have the edge.
