7-0 Amsterdam. Dave and Co. went 3 and out in their first series. Dave threw a pretty touch pass that the receiver just flat out missed that would have been a nice gain.
Here we go with their second series in good field position. Come on Dave!
All is fair in love and war, I love our little rivalry, it really makes the games a lot more exciting, you all have the bragging rights enjoy it while it lasts.
Ragone is looking crisp and pretty good, now if his receivers would get open and stop pulling a Corey Bradford he would be ok. 27-21 comeback time baby.
earlier in the game, i noticed some fans drinking dark beer in big glasses and smoking cigarettes in the stands. i bet they payed less for their superior german beer than we pay for a budweiser at a game. touchdown berlin, game's getting good now.
Ragone's stock has to be going up. His reciever's have dropped balls and some untimely penalties coupled with bad OL blocking have put them behind. 6 sacks is way too many. I hope everyone is noticing that he is fairly accurate when he has a little time.
I stopped watching the game after the 3rd when it was 24 to 7, and then I just turned it on and its 27-21. Ragone is leading a comeback, I hope they can do it.
Berlin actually had a nice little defensive stand there--the Adenoids should've gone 3-and-out with plenty of time for a comeback but 2 defensive penalties kept them alive.
2 questionable calls against berlin late in the game. let them play, those were bad calls. almost called that last play a catch. obvious, the refs are not up to the nfl level.
Moron drops Rags' pass in the end zone!! That hurts. Rags has a chance to make minor-league history....you can't ask him to do much more than that in June!
Boon was the ONLY WR that was even sort of consistant for Rags. No O-line help in the 1st half and penalties and droped balls in the 2nd half KILLED Berlin. Dave did a great job though. I suspect that he has caught the attention of a team or two.
I was wondering if you could pull up some old quotes about when Ragone was selected in the 3rd round of the 2003 draft. I am curious to know who all didn't agree with that pick and what they think of it now.
You gotta assume some good stuff is going to come from this guy either through making the second string QB or providing us with some good trade value.
