Well if my sig offends someone so much to where they don't want to listen to anything I have to say then that's there problem.....anywayz enough about me.

I know my sig seems harsh and biased, but I can't help it.......it's been 4 long years, and people seem so content with keeping Carr here (from the GM, to even some fans), my sig isn't meant to be taken personal, just from a frustrated fans perspective.

I'll tell ya what.....if the Texans don't want him.....we'll take him in a HEARTBEAT out here in AZ. I know, I know....it's HARD to be a Cardinals fan. However, I'm also a Texans fan #2.

I think you guys will take anything in AZ....no offense.....but like I've said before a fresh new start for David isn't a bad idea.

Reponding to Texans Chick post: I am one of those enthusiastic type Houston Texans fans that honestly doesn't have the confidence to interject my real thoughts on most subjects posted here. But I've learned so much and appreciate the mostly positive, but knowledgeable opinions I read on a daily basis.
That was a great post IMO. I tried to add to your reputation but was told I needed to "spread the love" in other words before giving you another high five

(insert my favorite flag flying smilie here) Just where DID it go?

I have only been posting on here for a couple of months or so, but born in Houston and grew up in Chambers County and go back to loving the Oilers since I was about 5 years old, and then along came the Texans...anyway..I did have a point before I rambled on, how do you add to someone's reputation? And the higher the better I am guessing? I just notice one day not too long ago, and I am not up to speed on that one yet.

I couldn't find the smilie you were talking about, it was my fav too. This one is pretty good though. :redtowel:

Since the Rose Bowl, all of a sudden there are BOATLOADS of posters with less than 50 post and almost to a person are VY supporters. A great many apear to be of ...shall I say..of questionable origin. Not Texans fans, but just UT people who appear all of a sudden trying to blow up the board with support for their guy. The MB is open to all and good discussion is great, but mindless perroting of "Vince is God" is getting more than a little tiresome. Some have cogent things to say, but IMO, most are just posting the same drival over and over.

Just letting you know I just joined this forum. I am not really VY or Texas and I don't think the Texans should pick him.

I'm a Houston fan above all else. It's my hometown. I want what's best for the teams that represent my hometown. Thus far the Texans have been a disaster. This was the playoff year, remember? Vince Young is what is best not only for the team, but also for the city. He's that special and that important. He is Nolan Ryan, Earl Campbell, and Hakeem Olajuwon rolled into one.
1. There Texans have been an Expansion franchise not a disaster.
2. If you believed we were playoff bound this year then you didn't actually watch the games last year.
3. Vince Young is an option and when you look at our needs and our salary cap he probably isn't the best option. (he might be though, but there is no way anyone logical, could as be 100% about it as you are.)
4. Hakeem Olajuwan is from AFRICA, not Houston. The city embraced him because he was a winner, not because he went to college in Houston. The city also loves two kids from Long Island, NY and Boston, Mass. named Biggio and Bagwell.
5. You must be a big time Houston Texans fan. ("Above all else" - LOL) NOTHING, not even a potential Playoff year perked your interested in joining the Messageboards. It was the chance to get Vince Young that made you join and make almost 100 post about how he is the greatest.

I, for one, am very glad to see new posters.

It's what we need.

I'm ready for more fans to speak out and not just read the posts and go on their way.

I agree - we need more thoughtful posters to keep the fresh ideas coming. However, the same idea 100 times in 3 days isn't real "fresh", nor thoughtful at that point.

i see what ur saying edo, but hey let em come i just wonder if they'll stay around even if we dont draft bush,,,hmmm prolly not.

However, I do not belive that Vince Young is the choice for the Texans. Vince Young is a great guy, and a great representative for our hometown. But I believe that he is a risky choice in comparison to Reggie Bush. You may be right, he may be everybody and their dog rolled into one. But... He is not a typical QB, and I fear that he will not run all over the NFL like he did college kids. And how many 260 lb. linebackers is it going to take to slow down his runs for glory. I hope he does great in the NFL. But, Bush is more of a sure thing. And I wonder if Houston can afford to gamble... and lose. Either way, I will support the player the Texans choose.
