Hoping that Vince will fall far enough for the Dolphins to trade up for him? Your guess is as good as mine.
there's no one in this draft i want miami to trade up for. we don't have enough picks. let alone for an unproven WR.

because i'm a huge vince young fan, and this is the place to go if you're madly in love with young!

No, you are a VY hater. Look at the poll above and you will see that our fans are more in tune with RB and trade down.

I have been a PSL holder since day one. I'm also a huge VY fan and have watched him since high school but I want the most for my money now and not have to wait 4 years for VY to come around. Thats why I want Reggie!!!

And I agree with you...

For the record, I chose Bush, but I wouldn't have if I thought we could get a good deal on a Trade Down. I just don't think we can and the Trade Down seems like an impossibility at this point.

I was also ready to take VY at one point and the very next day Carr got his extension. I don't want another QB anytime soon.

Trade with the Jets for #4 (hell, it doesn't even have to be THAT good of a deal at this point), and take the best lineman available, be it Ferguson or Williams.

Season Ticket Holder.

So why are you here exactly????

been asking myself the same thing about that dude for weeks now.

I think he's related to miss cleo b/c he has the entire draft pegged before it ever happens.

I agree. Mario would be nice I just don't see the value of the number 1 pick in the entire draft for him. I would love to have him but only in a trade down situation. Barring injury Bush is the only sure thing in this draft and that is what you need for the 1st pick.

Casserley has stated now that it is either Bush or Super Mario, No one else is even being sought after, and yes fans, that means Vince Young will NOT be a Texan...

IMHO, take it for what it's worth..... but I thought he was asking what do we want the Texans to do with that first pick.

If the question was what do we think they are going to do, I would have answered Reggie Bush......

So in light of that, I don't know if the results of this will prove what it was intended to prove. Or illustrate what it was meant to illustrate, because you'll have people voting not what they honestly want the Texans to do, but what they feel like the Texans are going to do, and their desire to be on the "winning" team.

David's extension meant nothing to me....... it did not make sense to sign him to the 3 year plan, but I would've opted for the 2 year, and still sign Vince... Does it make the most use of my money?? No........ dumping David, and drafting Vince would have been. Again my opinion.

But we do owe the poor sap something, for the way we allowed him to get beat time and again, and not once try to stop the madness...... I don't care who you are, 5 sacks in one game, & I'm going to pull you out of there before you start having concussions in your 5th/6th year. & Until we have improved the protection, the takling dummy(Banks would have been in there).

I understand, it may very well have been David demanding to stay in the game, and I admire him, because I believe he may very well had...... but he wouldn't have had a say in the matter.

But I would do everything in my power to get David on the right track, to succeed..... help him experience success, and help him "write" his resume as an NFL starting QB.

It doesn't make sense, I know..... it's never been done in the NFL before, I know....... but no ones been sacked a gazillion times in their first 4 years either.

Vince is my man. Vince is the man I want to build my team around.

Used to be a trade down guy, but I have flipflopped the last month or so I will admit. Something that is not usual behavior for me, but I figured out awhile back no one is going to give offer us the blockbuster deal that I wanted to see. So I am happy with Bush.

No season tickets, I live in the Austin area, I venture to one game a year at Reliant, and it is always a blast! :yahoo:

Not a season ticket holder, but a Texans fan.

I don't have one answer.
I'm a longhorn and VY fan, but I don't think he should be our #1 in this draft. A team can use multiple backs, multiple recievers, two guys back for kickoff returns, but 2 QB's won't work.... We have a QB like it or not.

If we pick at #1 I say Reggie Bush all the way, and let's enjoy some weapons

If we get a really good trade proposal and we can still get Mario, D'brick, Hawk or Huff and add more first day picks in this and the next draft I'd have no regrets. I think Bush is the best athlete, but I'd take one of the others that are %'s less talented with the addition of several other talented players. I might be happy with a trade that resulted in Huff, Winston, Mangold and a first rounder next year taking care of the future of the line and DB. Is SF not intrested in a trade? Guess they need talent everywhere like us. #6, #22, #33 could give us some good talent, but we'd have to have more than those two picks. Most mocks have either Winston or Mangold going about #22 and the other not until the 2nd, so both should be available. The only other Trade option I see still open is the Jets, unless someone throws out some top veteran players into a package

I don't think we could do wrong with Bush or a high valued trade.
