Another Texans fan moves to AUSTIN!

WOW!...KEYE is sucking hard. I have read the post on here last year and now that I have moved down here last month I am seeking some texans football.
I just sent a letter to keye director. Luckily I am going back up to huntsville this weekend and will catch the game against the panthers.

I am thinking that since my Dish satellite still has my old zipcode in it I think I can still pick up the houston locals. As long as I hook the dish up myself and do not call the company and tell them I moved. This will get me by for this season, and hopefully KEYE will come to its senses.
I Paid alot for HD DISH and programming and I thought I had a complaint because the TEXANS were only showed in High Def twice last year. At least I got to watch them the whole season. Hopefully more Texans games will be in high def. Its great when you can see the blades of grass on a 65" widescreen, its like the best seat in the stadium. I have also been lucky to have a friend who has held season tickets since game one, and when he cannot go he would email them to me, 6 rows back from the field I still preferred the seat at the house, except when I went to the butt whooping game we gave to jacksonville last year. So far best game ever (maybe the opener against dallas tops it)

I am definitely going to hit up 3rd base in a couple of weeks.

That would be a riot if it worked however I have to think that they have a way of knowing where their receivers are.

It works...or at least it used too two years ago. I had a friend that drove from Austin to Houston and purchased one, gave him his parents Houston address and then installed it in Austin. Of course he got all the Houston local news and stuff, but he also got all the Houston Team games. Not sure if it works if you just call in and tell them you moved or not.

Well back in the day of programming Sat Cards it worked.
There is a hexadecimal hash that is called upon that has the address which is encoded on the actual smart card.
When the box receives the programming initially it is setup. The only time it should change is when you call them and tell them you moved and you want them to change it to receive austin locals/advertisement.
I am headed today after work back to my house which is actually just on the other side of lake livingston. I used to work at the prison in livingston. I am glad I no longer do that. Went back to school got my college degree in computers/networking and moved on since then.

Last time I moved cable worked fine in my new place. I called to change my billing address, they figured out I had moved, and I got hit with a "connection fee" (despite the fact everything was already hooked up and working).

C'mon. Personally, I couldn't decieve these guys even though they're a faceless corporation. My conscious wouldn't permit me to do that. Each to their own. Either way.... Just come to Third Base! You can't beat the atmosphere that's stemming over there based on people who already went! It's where I'm going to be. I'm going to convince these guys to show the Texans games on the local stations the hard and honorable way. It's just the way I am. Oh well. I'm not downing you. I'm just saying. It's just better to do it this way! The feeling of accomplishment that we'll have when they realize the error of their ways will be unbeatable! Be one of us at Third Base!

I already have 2 dish boxes at the house and my wife is refusing to give one up. So I am just ordering a 3rd box. I will still pay for it.
Why should I have to pay for another full account.
THe satellites have plans for friends and family. Where you can go together and get multiple house signed up for inexpensive, kinda like piggy backing from one system. Its only like an additional 5 or 6 dollars a month per receiver.
All I am doing is leaving them to believe its at my house near huntsville, and not at the house here in austin. THey still get the same amount of money either way.

This is true... I am on my Dad's account and we are in two separate zip code addresses. Combined, he pays for about 6 boxes. The bills all go to him. (I pay him cash for the monthly rental of the two boxes - about $6 or $7 - each box)...


Oh, and he pays ever year for the NFL Sunday Ticket... NICE!!!!
