Another Heart-breaking Loss, We Fought Though, and will continue to...

Today was obviously a tough loss for our football team. Both teams player hard both mentally and physically, the Ravens just excuted in crunch time, and we did not.

The big question now is where do we go from here. We have 4 games left, 4 opputunities. It starts next week against our rivals, the Titans. We just need to go into practice Wednesday and prepare for this game through Friday.

Our Texans still have alot to proove, in the positive way, this season, and it will not be completed until all 16 games are complete. In the meantime, our football team needs to continue fightning, which I feel they will, and us fans need to cheer them for a win each game.

I still strongly feel we have the players to win, and coaches. We just need to make a few bigger plays, at bigger times.

Fans- stick with us, please, through this rather rough sled. No, the season may not be going as we planned thus far, but still have 4 games to play, and hopefully, win. The harder you cheer for us in the loosing times, the better the winning times will feel.

I'll continue to cheer and belive,

Go Texans:texflag:

You left out "There's still a lot of football to be played this year" and you didn't say "execute" enough to really project that "Coach Capers Effect".

All I have to read is "TexansAllTheWayBaby" and I know what the rest of it says. Thanks for saving me the trouble. You're a better fanatic than I am.

You are either:

- the guy on the cross from Monty Python's The Meaning of Life singing "the brighter side of life."
- an intern for Mr. McNair
- an apprentice to White House Press Secretary Scott McClellan
- a Prozac salesman
- a dominatrix from a parallel universe
- gulity of blind homerism, which can be construed as a felony for some discussions. :)

Keep up the optimism as there is a homer in all of us just dying to come out.

We are constantly subjected to the rantings of all the "Carr Sucks", "Casserly Sucks", "Capers Sucks", "Vince Young is a GOD", "Fire everybody!!!!!!", ..... posters .....

it's nice to hear from the other side ....

TexansAllTheWayBaby is one of my favorite posters. Why?

It takes stones to come to a message board chock full of optimism and staying future focused when just about everyone else is some varietal of a realist, pessimist, cynic, critic, armchair QB, revisionist historian, smartass, Don Rickles, troll etc.

I love the fact that wildly optimistic Texans fans like this exist. At 1-11. Bravo.

That with all the various posts that call people dumb and untalented repeatedly ad nauseum, TATWB tries to focus on the team we are fixing to play, the keys to beating that team, and then unfortunately after the losses, just the hope that this will make us better fans.

Texans fans of all varieties are a good thing because Mr. McNair is right, he needs us.

Everybody shows their fandom in a different way, and I have to say that TexansAllTheWayBaby's form of Texas-sized optimism makes me smile.

I am someone that tries to think that everything happens for a reason. And that when horrible stuff is happening to you from all sides, that I try to look for the good that might come out of it. And sometimes the only good that can happen is that the experience makes you tougher and smarter.

The ORIGINS of our team have to come from that philosophy. To get your home town team ripped from you, to have the national media say it is your fans' fault, and that you have little hope for a replacement, and then end up with a team after all and a fabu facility, well, it's a start.

After being at the Big 12 Championship and seeing how crazed that place was for a game that quickly got out of hand, it was hard not to envision how wonderful it would be to have a stadium that full of longtime, proud, loyal Texans fans. It will happen. And we will have been there from the hard beginnings.

Go Texans!:texflag:

I think most peoples are mixes.

Texans fans that are 100% optimists are an endangered species. I woulda said extinct, but TATWB demonstrates that they have not gone the way of the dodo.

Give me a break.....we are 1-11......this team bites......and I mean bad.........but I will still drive in from Austin for every home game........I could care less what the homers say.......this team is a nightmare and I could care less if we started over from the ground up.......this is pathetic and disgraceful.
