I think i'm having a hard time following you...so i apologize.

it looks to me that houston being at 10 doesnt have to trade for anyone.

With how your mock has turned out i'm leaning towards amobi okoye, reggie nelson, and leon hall.

if we can trade down, let's do it. and if we can foresee how far we need to go down to get a certain player.

i'd go down to to the 20's to take leon hall or levi brown.

Well it is an odd situation. Basically, I don't want to go back a dozen picks and start over at the trade. To do so would make it impossible to get through 3 rounds.

So, I'm left with finding trades that are the least invasive to the mock.

Atlanta moving into the #8 gives them the option on Quinn, but with the next pick being Ginn to Miami, if no trade is made they are really still taking Carriker.

But Miami will take Quinn in that case (I've polled them). That leaves Ginn at #10 for Houston, which I doubt you all want. But I can't ripple the whole draft for the fix.

Right now it looks like Atlanta and Oakland fans may make a deal and Quinn goes to Oakland (with some picks) for Johnson. Miami then keeps Ginn.

Houston then has Carriker (since he was selected at #10) and since Houston fans voted most for Branch & Okoye after Quinn, I try to make a trade with those teams (Buffalo or St louis) or I try to make a trade with a team like NE for a late 1st & 2nd round pick for Carriker.

I know it is complex, and that is why I avoid trades in the fan draft.

Boy, i sure am glad you're doing this and not me! thanks, you're doing a great job and i think this is a really good way to do a mock....it's not your opinions per se but the fans that know more than i do..

keep it up. I'm not liking Branch at 10 because his 'stock has been going down'...i'm fickle like that...lol

for what it's worth the biggest needs for the texans are FS, CB2, WR2. imo. DL needs help as well at DT mainly. i wouldn't like wr2 addressed in the first unless we traded down a good bit (and take meachem). I'm leaning towards FS, CB2....BUT...okoye may be rated higher (BPA) than hall and nelson so we'd probably take him.? Levi Brown could be good as well because we need to protect schaub.

sorry for not helping you one bit. lol
