And the Wonderlic Score leaks begin

Lol took the wonderlic test, scored a 37 rawr.. I can see why they give it though, as it's kind of interesting pressure test.

Oh Derek, that's a little low for a QB, you might want to put down the comic books and try reading something a little more challenging.

Blaine Gabbert just ruins any hypotheses you can postulate about the Wonderlic and QBs. :mariopalm:

Yeah, but it would be a pretty solid list without Blaine Ponder in there.

He's thinking too much about his health rather than standing tall and making the throw.

The main reason that experts believe that the Wonderlic test is mainly predictive of QB, LB/DB performance in the NFL is because it is a hurried timed experience that tests thinking in terms of quick decisions. QBs, LBs and DBs must make quick reads.

I guess we can't question the Wonderlic's validity on the basis that Ponder is at the top of the list...........he makes the quickest decisions to either throw the ball away or fall down I've ever seen.:kitten:

The greatest "cerebral" QB ever to play the game scored a 28 out of 50. That should tell you something.

30 - and guessed at most of the math ones as I did not have pencil and paper.

Doesn't say to much for those who have a "college" education and cannot score at least the same. I only had a year of junior college - many, many, many years ago

It didn't work for me. I'd answer a question and it wouldn't accept my answer for 20 seconds or more. But none of the questions was hard, particularly the math ones.

i got a 20 (out of 22 i think) while eating dinner. this isnt a test for me though, i re-read everything and double check my math, speed is not my forte anymore. with that being said and as much as my mind has deteriorated since school, it would give me pause as a coach if a player couldnt hit at least 20-25 at the peak of their education.
