All Offensive line draft of 2006

I'm not ready to mail it in, but unless all of our O-line suddenly figures out how to play together, we're done. Here's what we should do (assuming some poor team finishes worse than us and takes Matt Leinhart)

Texans 2006 NFL Draft
Round 1. D'Brickashaw Ferguson OT Virginia (no more endless complaining about our left tackle) message board posts down 75%
Round 2. Greg Eslinger C Minnesota (bye bye McKinney or go to Guard)
Round 3. Kevin Boothe OG Cornell (must be smart, right? Ivy League?!)
Round 4. Adam Stenavich OT Michigan (falls to 4th round due to Michigan's appearance in the EV1.net bowl. Todd Wade can retire.)
Round 5. D.J. Shockley QB Georgia (you knew CC would pick a QB somewhere)
Round 6 Lequalan McDonald OT Baylor (a bit of a project that pushes the incumbent starters)

It completely baffles me why some posters would want a team that can't protect their quarterback (after 4 years of trying) to draft another quarterback and then get him beaten into a bloody little pulp too.

If you don't like David Carr then fine. By all means that is your right and I've got nothing to say about it. I'm sure you have your reasons and we can all see that he's not perfect. Replacing him isn't the first thing this team needs to do. It's not even in the top 5 right now.

its not that i dont like david carr but i have seen to much fil to even have hope he can make it in this league this isnt the WAC conference so i see no hope for him.

I would never advocate taking Leinhart- you'd be putting the franchise back 5 years and Lord knows how much $$$. If we go end up 2-14 we should definitely trade down and let Cleveland take Leinhart.

2-14 is looking better than what we will end up if we are lucky and i mean really lucky we might win one game.
