ALABAMA versus CLEMSON

Should be a good game. Clemson's defense is very underrated. They don't get anywhere near the publicity that Bama's defense does but they can flat out fly.
 
Kiffen's offense seems to be a little bit discombobulated in getting set, lots of confusion among WRs and RBs getting in position.

Ridley appears to be a bit overwhelmed.

Yeah he is, twio sacks on coverage, Kiffen was wanting to go deep, I checked 3 times looking for a check down and couldn't find one. Early on Coker was throwing to the turf when it broke down but later on stopped trying to make something happen. Clemson only giving him a 3 sec window to get the ball out. Kiffen's O has seemed a bit confused out there.

He's done a good job of protecting the ball by turfing those blown up screen passes. Those downfield pass plays are going nowhere though. It's all covered and instead of breaking out of the pocket and getting a few yards he is hesitating and eating sacks.
 
80% of Alabama's passing yards coming after the catch. Coker not being asked to do very much. Turn around and hand off, throw a screen, or dump off without taking a sack.
 
Great game so far. Watson really putting on a show. He threw a TD on the possession before this but it was dropped/broken up.

Dodd had 20 TFL this year and went completely unnoticed on the national state because of Lawson. He has absolutely dominated the right side of Bama's OL.

The LB Boulware had a hell of a year too.
 
Henry goes down on first contact a ton for a guy his size. Most his yards come on plays he doesn't even get touched.
 
The sideline throw to Stewart was far more impressive than that last TD. Even Hoyer easily completes that one.

Both TD passes to the TE have been total coverage busts. The QB gets credit for completing the pass, but it's not like it was a contested throw.
 
Looks like we found our future ST coach.

A blocked FG, an onside kick, and a KR for a TD.

Talking about the Clemson coach of course. He'll fit right in.
 
Howard has single handedly destroyed Clemson tonight. 5 catches for 200 yards with the majority of those yards being after the catch. Unreal for a TE to have that kind of impact after the catch.
 
Great game. Alabama deserved to win. Dodd scored himself some huge points and Lawson solidified himself as a stud playing after that injury and still disrupting the game. Watson is now the #1 QB heading into next year. Coker didn't wow anyone but he did what was needed. There was a lot that will come out of this game.
