AJ's Voice of the Fan gives a little hope

I really like what AJ said about how Wong is the only starting defensive guy from that year we beat Buffalo in Buffalo.

To me it gives hope that if we could've put pressure on the QB against that oline with the dline we had, we should be able to have some success this week. I also recall when Coleman didn't play that game and Demarcus Faggins did a terrific job and now Dunta gets to do his thang. The only question mark I really have is CC Brown but so far he has suprised.

Offensively is another story but hey we've done more with less before and we know how to fight for four quarters which is what we are going to need to do this week. I am excited and I smell upset!!!!

I really like CC Brown. He seems to always be around the ball and looks to be a decent tackler. We definitely need some more guys to "bring the wood" like Dunta does.

The Bills were lucky Coleman didn't make that trip back in 2003 or we'd have really put it on 'em! Probably made it 17-10 or something "crazy" like that. This week they're going to have to face the ENTIRE Texans defense and maybe the offense too. At least that's the plan. Hope they show up.

I really like CC Brown too. I think he could very well keep the starting spot even when Earl is 100% healthy if he has a good showing in Buffalo.

Interesting reaction to that factioid since it wasn't offered to give hope. I just found it interesting. Any port in a storm I guess.

In addition to Wong remaining from that unit, Payne and Walker were out injured and Coleman was suspended so there's really 'only' seven of the eleven faces that have really turned over since the end of '03.

The Bills offense was in the middle of a really bad funk at that point of the season and that had as much to do with the Texans success that day as anything. We saw Gregg Willliams in the midst of his last stand Thanks for reading, El T.

If all our defensive players were head hunters like Dunta, we would get more sacks. That guy ain't fraid of nothin'. LOL

ah, the good ol yesteryear. I remember the huge outcry on this board, well actually the predecessor to this board, but anyway, when Coleman was suspended from the game and didn't even make the trip by Capers. It was for missing Team meetings or being late to them. Most on here, including myself, saw that as the 'Kiss of Death' for us to win that game.

But hey, all's well that ends well, right.

Like that day, I don't think that either side is going to run away with a win.

But I have faith that the Texans are going to squeek out yet another win. :texflag:

Nice contrast aj, on the difference between real life and life entertainment in the form of a football game, with this write up. You remain one of the best 'writers' I ever read. You really should apply for McLame's spot with the Chronicle. :goodnight :)
