AFC Divisional Playoff Round; Houston Texans vs Kansas City Chiefs - Game Thread

Rooting for a Bills vs Lions Super Bowl. I am fine with either of them winning it all. Both their fans deserve it. The Bills for having lost four straight Super Bowls and the Lions for sucking as much as they have over the years. The Lions would be much like the Saints when their deserving fans won it all.

Alot of people that took the chiefs gave 9.5 pts and vice versa, some Texan takers were getting 9 to 9.5 pts. That safety changed alot of fortunes including a bunch of their fans.

And I dislike the Chiefs as much as the next guy but Andy & Pat are going to their 7th consecutive AFCCG which I can only tip my hat to.

Nah, I got zero respect for them.

I actually like(d) the team for the most part especially Mahomes and ANDY Reid except Kelce for the last few years but nah after today's display absolutely done with that. **** them. No respect. They skate to every win. Their best player flops like a ***** with fake slides and going out of bounds. They get bullshit penalty after bullshit penalty to extend drives when they have no business to.

Zero respect.

This is how a team becomes hated. Not because they're "good."

Hope they face Buffalo and get #metoo'd because if Baltimore plays them, I could only hope the stadium caves in.

I'm for now hoping weget a Bills vs Lions SB which obviously would mean we get a team that wins its very first SB.

Refs had a couple of bogus calls but the Texans lost this one all on their own.
This is why the NFL will never clean up their blatantly biased officiating bc of this self-blaming attitude

When you play KC on the road in 22* weather you absolutely need fair and consistent officiating to have a shot.

This kinda BS used to be relegated to the NBA. See Golden State Warriors.

Mixed feelings on this season. I honestly don't know what to think. They lost to bad teams, they beat good teams. They played good teams tough, they allowed bad teams to hang around. They throttled a playoff team in the playoffs and got throttled by Minnesota and Baltimore in the regular season. I expected the defense to struggle, they were one of the best defenses in the league. I expected the offense to excel, they way underperformed my (and many others) expectations.

I have never seen any team give up 2 points in that manner esp when up by 2 scores anyway with 16 seconds left

No, there was a way to win this game. But our offense will not beat many teams, much less, the Chiefs if you only score one TD, allow 8 sacks, and have special teams play like that.
Also Boyd should be taking a bus back to Houston

Much better performance 2nd rd of playoffs vs Chiefs than last season against Ravens. We’re still in the game 4th quarter last year out shortly after halftime.

Did injury report list Scruggs as out before the game? Because Mason was a step down & really hurt both CJ & Fisher. Even if questionable, should have been given a go, that’s my first gripe.

2nd is there needs to be officiating reviews on sack/personal penalties. Don’t care who the QB is, that’s not calling a fair, unbiased game.

3rd *****, don’t save timeouts just in case you need them end of game, use them when your in the Red Zone, need to score, and team is rushing just to snap the ball. Stop the clock and regroup, make sure you have the right play and everybody knows assignment. If this is on Bobby Slowick, he needs to go, play speed seems riddled with mis-communication issues all year.

This season was worthless and not enjoyable. Most games were tedious. There weren't really any truly memorable moments. And week after week it was at least as infuriating to watch as the Vladimir O'Brien era.

Almost glad we lost today. I wouldn't have liked winning in a season like that.

Hopefully we just move on don't even acknowledge this year's existence.

I had more hope after the Ravens loss last year than I have right now for next year

Entire OL is an across the board "dirty diaper" of a unit. So bad it makes it look like someone was trying to get CJ killed.

Caserio has a mess on his hands

Hes pot committed to a terrible oline and doesn't have a wr 2 3 4 5

Also has a TE 1 that can't block

Has a kicker who blows goats

It's on him, building up a trash roster is easy
