Acceptance

I'm excited. Not only about Williams but about the upcoming season. Our awesome offseason has left me extremely satisfied. Now I want to see it all play out.

I ACCEPT that the FO is stupid and ignorant. After this move I can offically say that I think that maybe the NFL made a mistake of letting McNair being an owner. I Accept that we will have a Top 5 or number 1 pick next year and blow it again. I accept that the Texans will not make the playoffs in the next 2 years and that we are on a 4 year plan again.

I've been excited ever since Capers was fired, because it meant that our owner was seeking a change in direction. One player is not going to diminish my anticipation of next season and the upgrades that we've already made.

And besides, Williams is a potential playmaker that could pay HUGE dividends on defense. I can't complain about that prospect.

I am at Optimistic.

I'd be at Excited but it bums me out when I hear so much ugliness about the pick.
 
When I wake up in the morning, for just a brief second as I ease out of bed, I will think I had a dream that the Texans passed on Reggie Bush and selected Mario Williams.
