a trade question

my question for ya'll if you were casserly and had a chance to trade up for derrick johnson would you take it...say for an example...trading up to washington's spot for our 1st, a 3rd, and jamie sharper...would you do it?
 
I would but only if they draft DJ and then trade him to us for all that stuff like the Eli Manning trade.
 
As long as we kept our second rounder, I would do it...I doubt DJ will be available at 9, though...
 
well that was what i was thinking but look at the draft order
sf-don't be fooled by any talks they will take a QB
mia-unless saban gets ricky to return before the draft they will be drafting a RB
clev-the only wildcard but i still see them taking the other qb left on the board
chi-they will either take benson or m. williams
tb-will either take cadillac or m. williams
ten-floyd reese has talked about barron here but probably pac-man
min-if m. williams or edwards are availble that's who they'll take
ari-benson, rolle, dj, or cadillac...with dennie green i'd bet on an offensive player
was-dj is the ideal choice for them but they still want a reciever who they can get at 13th pick that's why i have the trade with them

I would bet that SF could get either Alex Smith or Aaron Rodgers at 13 if we switched picks.

I just dont think 2 of the other 11 teams before us would take a QB. But it would be a crapshoot.. so who knows.

If SF were picking at 13, which will never happen, Rodgers would go 3rd overall and Smith would go 8th overall to the Cardinals...Of course this is purely hypothetical, but I think Arizona's need of a franchise QB overrides all of their other needs..

this is where the what if happens
if titans pass on Johnson here he will slip to 9.
6. Pac-man
7. m. williams
8. Rolle
You see i think we would have to depend heavily on the browns not taking Johnson. Then the titans selecting Pac-man or antrel
it could happen i would put it around 15% chance.

Have you seen next years QB list. There is some quality QB's next year. They have warner for this year. I dont think Cardinals will break top 10 of the next draft... I think they might be able to get USC or Texas QB. I saw the list and there was 4 good QB's coming out next year.

Young won't come out of Texas next year, Mack will make sure of that.
 
I would not due it because that would be to much value for the pick. I would trade our first, sharper, and fourth for equal and a lil more value. maybe even give them one of our 7th rounders to sweeten it for them. That would be equal. We only need to give up a third if we are going higher than 8.
 
I think the Cards'll win that division this year. It actually is the worst in the history of football. They could probably have a losing record and still win it.

Why not package sharper and a #2 and we dont lose a draft pick but move up 15 picks.
 
Most teams are not going to take a 1 year 6 million dollar contract to swap our 2 with their 1.
