TAKE IT TO THE BANK! :heh:

this is ..... Very Reasonable. Could very much go like this come draft day pending trades . One of the better mock's I've seen thus far . No homer picks , nothing completely stupid .

Looks good but I dont think Ced will be the 3rd RB taken.

Where do you see him going ?

I think he's the second best RB in this draft . Ronnie Brown impressed me every time i saw him . I think the top three backs in order are Brown , Benson and Williams , also they are three of the top 6 overall prospects if not top 6 picks since some teams will draft need instead of best players .
The two QB's i dont think are worthy of top half of the first round , they just happen to be the two best at their position .... a very weak position in this draft..... in terms of STUD Talent

I see him going ahead of Cadillac, and maybe ahead of Ronnie Brown. It is just preference of what type of back the teams are looking for. Ced is a workhorse who will be getting his yards every play.

Agree'd . There isnt a lot that seperates the top three backs although i think Brown is closer to the total package and has more "Big Play" potential . Benson i kinda liken to a workhorse you can hand the ball toand let him run between the tackles 30 times a game . Brown is a strong runner as well but i think he is better in the open field and has better hands . Depends on what the team is looking for . I'd take either one of them @ 13 ..... Neither will be there.

:woot I'm not sure a 4 year workhorse out of a big 12 school is such a good thing . The Auburn RBs took alot less hits and are faster and better recievers out of the backfield . Ced does'nt have as much tread on the tire .

Very true, but Cadillac does have a few nails in his treads as well. None of the 3 runningbacks truely are clean of the injury bug. It's just that Benson has proven he can carry a seasons load as a starter, as he's done it 4 times in his college career.

:thumbup I think Benson is a tough between the tackles runner but I'm not sure he has said the right things lately . If he has a better workout than the Auburn dudes on his Pro-day he'll move up . I think Ced will run a 4.5 at best . I don't know about his hands .

This is how I have the RBs ranked right now
  1. Ronnie Brown
  2. Cedric Benson
  3. Carnell Williams
This is of course subject to change after the UT pro day, because if CB runs a sub 4.5 and does OK receiving the ball then I would have to boost him back up top. :hmmm:

What were Brown's injuries in college?

2001:
Named to the All-SEC freshman team ... Played both fullback and tailback during season ...Played in 11 games, starting five ... Gained 28 yards on six carries against North Carolina in the Peach Bowl ... Finished third on the team with 330 yards and 3.9 average per carry ... Scored a touchdown on a five-yard run and rushed for 41 yards against Alabama ... Rushed seven times for 27 yards against Georgia ... Played fullback against Louisiana Tech and gained 29 yards on six carries and caught two passes for 27 yards ... Held out of the Vanderbilt game to continue to rehabilitate turf toe and shoulder injury suffered early in the season ... Limited playing time against Florida and Miss. State with only two carries ... Gained 47 yards on 12 carries against Syracuse ... Rushed 25 times for 84 yards in start against Ole Miss ... Started against Ball State and rushed five times for 67 yards (13.4 avg.) including a touchdown on a 43-yard run and caught one pass for 33 yards ... Became first freshman running back to score in his first start since 1992 and the 43-yard run was longest by an Auburn freshman since 1996 ... Did not play second half of Ball State game after bruising shoulder ... Came out of spring drills as the first-team tailback ... Rushed for 79 yards on nine carries and a touchdown in spring game.

:thumbup I think it depends on your team . Ced reminds me of a Emmitt Smith type back . Cadilac is a west coast type back while Ronnie Brown is a guy whos got the most upside to carry a bad team . I wonder how they compare to SDs Tomlinson .

I think at 13 if Houston Passes up on Pac Man it will be a mistake, he is the head of the class in the secondary this year and will do wonders for the team in the future, Dunta and Pac Man will shut recievers out....

the only way Cedric Benson is rated above Caddy, is if he runs a sub 4.5 and does very well ib the catching drills(which i dont see happening)
