A bright spot for the Texans

Troy Nolan seems to be making the most of his time on the field. Nolan looks like he is going to be a good backup safety if not the starter. He was the only player last night that seemed to be fired up. With the exception of 1 missed tackle i saw him do, his game looks solid. Do not remember seeing Sharpton or Dickerson last night. Are they injured ? Jacoby looks to be getting better and better at the WR spot, good news as we could have 3 solid starting wideouts. Orlavsky(sp?) looks to be getting better but I am still not confident in him if Schaub goes down. Holliday is terrible to this point, i am not willing to use his finger as an excuse for the 2 mishandled kicks last night. Kareem jackson must have done a good job, i did not hear his name but twice last night and both of those pass attempts were incomplete.

Yes, I would like to see Nolan get to work with the starters, just to see how he reacts. He's certainly a superior athlete to Eugene Wilson.

Regarding Holliday, he's not ready. Still, I would like to see him on the practice squad and let his thumb heal in case the Texans need a returner during the season. I just think that at some point, Jacoby will need to concentrate full time at WR.

if history is any guide, Wilson won't make it all year. I firmly believe that Nolan will see quality time during the season.
