I don't agree with your cuts...I think there was talk of us not keeping a true fullback, thought we probably will....and for some reason I feel like you're forgetting someone...but a good prediction none the less...and I hope we keep more than 3 gaurds

P-Stanley

TE- Putzier, Daniels, Bruener, Joppru (Halterman cut) 4

K- Brown

27 on offense

I will work on Defense later today. I think those cuts will be harder.

Seeing Smith cut wouldn't break my heart, but I doubt it happens.

I doubt we carry three QBs. Porter should make the PS.

I doubt we carry 6 WRs. Anderson or Lewis would be good PS canidates.

If our young RB's show they can handle the load until DD returns, I see Smith gone. I wasn't all that impressed with his signing or his performance against KC. I DO think the the performance was somewhat hindered by the OL due to jitters or whatever. The OL didn't look great at run blocking during the 1st series

I think you forgot Mathis...or maybe I just overlooked it...but for the most part I likes...

I really hope so. We brought the guy in to provide veteran leadership blah blah blah. He failed two conditioning tests in a row while he was in NE.

He does have some game, but he's nothing special. I'd hate to see us cut a young guy so that we can keep Smith simply because he's a known commodity. Unfortunately, I think that since every single back we have other than Smith does have question marks - he makes the team.

I'd take off Alfred Malone and add Jake Shifino. He has looked exceptional so far in training camp and has been a KR in the past.

agreed. I think Armstrong, although I love him, is also a boarder line guy as well.
Walters is the solid #3. 4 & 5 will have to make it on ST. The gunners looked vwry good the first preseason game. I can see Anderson Making it as the #5
ST guy. Shifino & Lewis look good as 4 & 6.

Already made my O-line arguement. Some of you better get out the strong medicianal porpose medicine out and take a hit befor you look at the final cuts is all I'll say about that. I do not agree with your list.

DD is heading for the PUP list. In spite of the old chornicle story to the contrary, I believe Wong will join him there.

Very good post though. props.

One more food for thought. Pettaway hits the waiver wire, he's a*GONER*.
That's a pipe dream if you think you're going to slip him through the wire.

Do you guys really think we carry six WRs? I think it is between Lewis Armstrong and Anderson for spots 4 and 5. I had Armstrong making the cut because Lewis and Anderson are both PS canidates and Armstrong isn't.

I'm thinking that way too. There's gotta be a reason that Derick can't get PT.
Whether he's not quick enough, dosen't run precise routs whatever. I think Derick is toast. I love the guy though. Outstanding hands. But...The others are much quicker and translate better on ST's is what I'm thinking. They've show nice hands also. ST's is one third of the deal. That makes Derick expendable.

I kinda agree with this, but I'm not sure the coaching staff sees it this way. As stated by others on this MB, Armstrong seems to be buried down in the pile and not getting the attention others are getting. Don't know if this is just a misperception on my part or what.

Anyway, if Armstrong does make the cut, who do you think, between Anderson and Lewis, will get sent to the PS, and do you think they'll make it through waivers? :hmmm:

O.K., I know this is early, and things can change, but here is my prediction on who makes the roster and who doesn't:

QB- Carr, Rosenfels, Porter (Pickett cut) 3
RB- Smith, Lundy, Morency, Taylor (Davis on IR) 4
FB- Cook (Luchey cut) 1
WR- Johnson, Moulds, Walter, Lewis, Anderson, Armstrong (Starling, Morgan, Schifino, Ross cut) 6

T- Wand, Spencer, Winston, Wiegart, Salaam (Watton, Bedell cut) 5
G- McKinney, Pitts, Weary (Loverne, Briesel cut) 3
C-Flanagan, Hodgdon 2
K- Brown

29 on offense

That's the band wagon I'm on gj. Schifino looks to have very, very good hands is all I'll say about that.
