5-Star WR signs with UH

Been a long time since Irish fans were high and mighty.

Proud of their school, definitely.

But much like UT and ATM fans there are a few, shall we say, ignorant, arrogant a-holes out there.

All teams have them.

I'll never understand the angst that supposed grown ups display over the decisions of 18 year old kids.

:coffee:

The kid will put up bigger numbers at UH than he would at ND. Smart move by the kid.

I think this signing is more to do with his relationship with WR coach formerly with Arizona State. Somehow WR coach convinced him to play for UH. Without this coach, I don't think he ever thought of coming to Houston at all not even stopping for a visit.

Go Coogs!!!

Yeah, I heard that on the radio this morning.
But also, the kid must have heard of all the numbers Donnie Avery and now Patrick Edward put up.

Good news for the Coogs.
Love it!

...

33 TDs, that's pretty crazy!

I wonder if they'll let him play 2-way like he did in HS or not.
Even in spot duty, a 6'3 DB who runs 4.5 should be of help.
(Looks like he play safety and some CB from the highlights from youtube).
Also return kick.

Or, saw very good looking girls at campus. It works for a young man. If I was 18, a girl would be my part of consideration in making decision.:dance2:

Wouldn't you?

Yeah, watched his video on youtube. He is still thin but you can see his upper body is developing pretty well for his size and if he can gain more weight without losing speed, he'll be a lethal weapon for Coogs.

I hope, this recruiting will help Coogs to obtain more talents in the future.

BTW, check QB (kid from SA) Coogs signed. Only 2star but I like his size and arm strength.

Go Coogs!!!

Or perhaps having a Chic-Fill-A on campus may also be a deciding factor (look it up, it was for one recruit...will post link later on).

Ha ha ha!!! Found it. Pure and simple kid.

McKinzy, a four-star recruit, signed with Auburn today over Clemson. Why? Well, partially because they have a Chik-Fil-A on campus and Clemson doesn't. Everyone has their priorities, and kudos to McKinzy for being honest about his. I can't blame the guy--I've only had Chick-Fil-A twice in my life (growing up in New York) and it is pretty awesome.

This was posted by a Notre Dame fan on one of the UH boards:

We have some of the most annoying fans in the country. They mean well but come off really bitter when stuff like this happens, but they don't seem to understand ND got a QB a couple of weeks ago by the same way with a last minute switch. I love ND but I'm a realist. Sometimes I get caught up in playing with the guys on the ND board too much because they see stuff only through rose colored glasses. Greenberry has NFL potential and when you have Tommy Rees(at best a D2 QB) throwing you the football you most likely will never develop at ND as WR. I see DGB developing more at UH because anyone you trot out at QB will be better than the scrubs at ND.

I'll definitely be tuning in to some Houston games next year to see him play.
