4-3 officially here?

The depth chart linked to by that article is a little out of whack in the o-line area. They have Weigert at RT and Hodgdon and Wade don't appear anywhere.

Not officially, but it will be here: my source says so. :spy:

Still want a 3-4, just properly run, but as long as Fangio isn't running it, we could play damn near anything and it's an improvement right now.

"Smith wants his defense to be so punishing and intimidating that opponents will dread playing at Reliant Stadium and compare it to a house of pain."

It's as if a weight has been lifted from my soul...........................

That is probably the best description for this o-line that I have ever heard. Maybe a little understated though.

Have they ever really been "in"-whack? Is it possible to be "in"-whack? Is that even a real phrase? I should just shut up.

Go Texans!!!

Kinda gives you a warm feeling deep in the cockles of your heart huh.

Sweet. I love high scoring offense as much as the next guy, but grind it out, kill the QB, nose smashing defense makes my face hurt from the grin they put on my face. Give them a bit of a swagger. Is there anything better in football than seeing a guys helmet come flying off after a big hit?

Your source seem to missed on that one considering the article released this morning.

I almost cried upon reading that.

On that site, only New Orleans is in need of a QB, or a running back of the teams picking in the top 5.

From the article:

Smith will settle for a player who reminds him of Dick Butkus, Ray Nitschke, Willie Lanier or Ray Lewis. Or all in one.

I'd "settle" for that too.

the interesting thing about that quote is that it doesn't sound like kaliee wong at all...still curious to know about his condition...if he is even going to be back this season...trade down for hawk is a possibility...but so is picking up jackson in the 2nd round

^^

Didn't see Huff in there, wouldn't mind seeing him here in houston. probably would go to early for us though. a decent later pick would be Slay from Texas Tech. seen some of his videos and he looks like he could be one of those guys that make WRs think twice before an inside route. I would love to see the Texans form into a defensive powerhouse, look how far Chicago got after revamping thier D. all we may need to do is have an offense that scores 14pts a game, D will do the rest.

Yea I didn't put Huff in because i figure he will be gone before we could get him,and forgot to list Slay.

I think that pat watkins is a beast and griffin is also a beast we need a saftey on the feild that is going to disrupt the offence somone who is always fustrating the qb. i also think that our dline should start peek and babin on the outside and jhonston and smith at dt"s. move morlin back to outside LB put wong in the middle and polk on the outside. put earl at free and daunta at cb and draft a shut down corner and get a beast of a saftey in the draft. if we do that we should hav a damn solid D.
