No starters will play next week. They’ll get their work in in next weeks joint practice with the Rams.
I would like to see them play most of the 1st half in this game, at the very least. Yes, I get the injury risks, but this is football. Injuries can happen anytime anywhere, whether it’s a meaningless preseason game, a practice during the week, or whatever.
I just think it’s important to get live, real tackle, game speed reps in before the season starts, especially when they won’t see those reps for 3 weeks after tomorrow’s game. 3 weeks!! That’s a long f’ing time of not seeing any live, real tackle game action.
