Stupid rule though. If Evans tips the ball in the air instead of to the ground, it’s the Bucs ball. It’s a stupid rule.
DPI is an automatic first down for the offense, a legitimate whack to the head should also be an automatic first down for the offense.

There's a few stupid rules in the game, but that is not one of them. The ball hit the ground, the play was over. Nothing you can do about that.

There's a few stupid rules in the game, but that is not one of them. The ball hit the ground, the play was over. Nothing you can do about that.

They got penalized, it’s just that the play was over. You can’t call a penalty on a dead ball and give a team an extra down.
