2018 NFL Draft

The issue is this is an extremely weak OT draft class. Last year was bad, too.

I'd rather have gotten our ot with the #35 overall pick. Eat 16m we didn't use anyway and cut oz outright.

This isn't directed at you 76 but,,,,

Don't tell me hindsight is 20/20. I knew the oz trade was stupid at the time and said so. This is the final payment on that ridiculous deal.

Spilled milk, I know. Sorry.

The Texans are close enough on the trade chart to move up now with #68 & #80.

I don't disagree with you one bit in your comments above.

If the Texans do trade up I guess it would be for the one true LT remaining and that would be short armed Connor Williams, a guy who missed a lot of football in 2017 due to a knee injury. Even when he played in 17 he wasn't the same guy that he was in 2016. Inconsistency and the knee injury concerns me. I wouldn't give up 2 thirds for him. The Texans lack bullets in this draft to take a big risk on that kind of guy.

LMAO! David Akers shots fired!!!

I'm loving the league wide troll on Dallas.

"HEY DALLAS! THE LAST TIME YOU WERE IN THE SB, THESE PROSPECTS WEREN'T EVEN BORN YET!!!" :spit:

Is it wrong to suddenly want a custom ackers jersey that says "weren't born!"

One of the highlights this draft, just digging and digging deep into Cowboys now that’s what makes a rivalry. Not to mention Philly drafted Dallas (named after the Cowboys) Goedert, TE.

Other than Guice, I would say no to these guys at #68. CB $ S is where the value is, now. Carlton Davis, Isiah Oliver, Ronnie Harrison & Justin Reid.

Nice. I'm going to have a blast next week with the boy fans I know. (Not that their draft has been horrible so far...)

We have to go BPA/most upside with the lack of top picks.

I don't think we can afford to just draft for top need. We need to hit on these picks with impact players..not just try to force gap fits. I don't care what position we draft right now, I just want good football players/difference makers.

Texans do not need to panic. Just stay where you are - a good talent will fall to you.
Some of these picks are all over the board.
Crazy draft.

Would you guys take DJ Chark WR LSU? 6'3, 199, and runs a 4.34.

We are gonna have a chance at some good players . Based on what I'm seeing, if someone wants to trade up to 68, I'd take it and get our first pick of the night at 80. We are gonna get some playmakers.

I answered.

One guy that I really like, an OT no less is Geron Christian. He played both tackle spots. I would draft him at 68, no doubt.
Just saw that. I don't know if we even need to go OL at 68. Looking like we will have a few options at 80.

Crazy theory here. Would you guys take Lauletta at 68, if he's There? (And the Pats are somehow not taking him here)

Threre were more. Theyre all gone now

Again, my point (opinion) about need vs. talent margin is pretty much null and void after the run on ol.

We might be better served trading a pick for a tackle already in the NFL. This sucks.

yep. I don't mind a developmental OL late but there is some really good talent that can seriously contribute to this team. Lets get as many of them as we can.

I've been watching the draft my whole life and this is killing me. I just want a new baby to believe in dammit. Everyone else has two, three, four

We all are the stupid cat looking out the window

or maybe a wise owl sitting high above waiting for the right target to come along. Too early to get mad or frustrated. Let's see what happens then ---
