2018 Draft a QB for backup - Kyle Lauletta (Richmond Spiders)

I'll admit, I have seen very little of Lauletta in game situations, but what I saw looked good. What about him as a late round pick to fight for a QB roster spot?

He certainly played well in the Senior Bowl for the Texans’ coaching staff. Would be interested if he’s still on the board for 6th/7th round. Though I think Texans will use draft picks for other areas and add an undrafted rookie to camp competition.

I won't be surprised if the Texans use a late round pick on a QB, especially one that they got acquainted with and coached while at the Senior Bowl this year.
And yes Lauletta definitely was impressive at this years Swnior Bowl, so good looking prospect IMO.

I think Lauletta would be a good fit with the Texans. And I originally thought he would be available on Day 3, but he has caught helium since his Senior Bowl MVP performance. I've heard 2nd round to the Pats.

Pats interested in Lauletta

Wow. QBs tend to skyrocket in value more than most so makes sense.
