Last game in Kyle Field as it is today. Man, that feels unreal.

Kyle Field today:

Kyle Field as it will be my senior year:

Seating capacity to improve from 82,589 to 102,500, making it the 3rd largest CFB stadium in the US.

Reading something on my phone, I found this beautiful quote.

"You will soon call yourself old army because you remember a day when Kyle Field looked less like a theme park and more like a cold war era Siberian prison. Gaze upon her cold, hard majesty comrade. Do it, or be branded a capitalist traitor."

Tonight is Ga Tech vs Clemson. Thur 11/14/13

Just a friendly suggestion to to keep an an eye on two DE who will be OLBs on Sunday, Vic Beasley w/ Clemson and Jeremiah Attachou w/ Ga Tech. Attachou has a strong resemblance to Brian Orakpo. Tajh Boyd and Sammy Watkins are always fun to watch. Beasley is a likely 1st RD and Attachou a 2nd RD.

Yea, I like Attachou.

I don't see Clemson losing another game this year.

That's awesome. I love seeing these huge college football stadiums. I went to a Tennessee game in 2004 and the attendance was 100k+, it was pretty cool. FSU's stadium capacity is around 84k. It would be cool if they expanded it, but I honestly don't see it moving average attendance.

I've only seen Doak Campbell in pictures, but it's one hell of a stadium. Beautiful architecture. Reminds me of the Victorian era stands at Lord's Pavilion in England.

Andre Williams of Boston College is a great player. #1 running back as far as I am concerned. He can take a lot of punishment and he just wears on people. Always breaking tackles and has enough speed to break away.

He led the nation coming into this game against NC State, he has 288 yards rushing so far.

Florida State game just started. First defensive snap for the Seminoles, Christian Jones unblocked TFL. Yea, should probably block him.

Hopefully I am getting ready to watch the next Head Coach of the Houston Texans beat the USC Trojans. Always impressed at how well David Shaw has the Stanford Cardinal so well prepared in all 3 phases of the game.

You jinxed them. Stanford lost to USC 17-20.

I am stoked for A&M vs. LSU this weekend. Watch party at my friend's house, big ass TV... it's going to be a blast.

I might be nuts, but I think A&M takes this one. Defense makes stops when it needs to, and actually played a lot better vs. Miss St. than the record indicates (garbage time points for Miss St.) I think if A&M hangs 42+ on LSU A&M wins.

I think A&M will win too. LSU's defense is not as great this year than they have been in the past and their offense is not very inventive. I don't think they keep pace.

As long as they are still Aggies and haven't become Texans you're in good hands. :D

Rivalry Week.

Florida Florida State at noon.

Auburn Alabama at 3:30.

Clemson South Carolina night game.

Lots of other great games on today.

I don't see his talents translating to the NFL very well but you have to really appreciate everything that Connor Shaw does for South Carolina. That dude is a hoss.

It's a crime that people are considering McCarron for the Heisman, but not Shaw.

Well we can scratch that after today, despite McCarron having a decent game.

It's Winston's to lose, but the allegations against him could have an impact. Braxton Miller will get a big bump after today.

Andre Williams got hurt today and didn't put big numbers up for BC and that's all the reason voters need to keep him out.

I wouldn't be surprised if the final three is Winston, Miller, and Jordan Lynch. Maybe Shaw or McCarron gets invited as part of a career achievement campaign.

I keep hearing that Texas A&M has one of the best OL in college football. I have to say in the last 2 weeks the A&M OL has been abused and manhandled by LSU and Missouri.

A&M's OL is overrated by people who want to downplay how good Manziel is, but it's still pretty good.

LSU and Missouri are both really good in the trenches though, make no mistake.

A&M's real problem is that their playcalling can be really obvious at times, and if you can take their WRs off their routes and keep Manziel in the pocket it takes away their explosive plays.

Their playcalling has been bad all year. They had trouble protecting Manziel, but still ran the ball effectively with the RB's tonight. Yet they called 60% pass plays in a game that was a one possession game the entire night. Mizzou threw the ball more effectively, but still leaned on the run game to carry their offense to a win.

This has been a problem for A&M all season.

Mizzouri just took away their screen and short passing game and batted balls down at the line and it was easy. Manziel was also inaccurate with the short stuff toward the end of the game, once running around when Evans was open, throwing late and high to him, then behind on a screen pass that Mizzouri had read anyway. Almost missed Labheart running wide open on a crossing route but Manziel finally saw him after running around in a circle and after Labheart was doing jumping jacks.

I was watching with my family and nobody understands why Manziel is even an NFL prospect at all. He was having trouble just getting the ball past the defensive line. I wouldn't draft Manziel in the first 3 maybe 4 rounds. I don't see anything about him that says NFL. Not interested at all. Mike Evans looked frustrated with the inaccuracy last night.

TAMU will find someone else at QB equally as good or better at actually playing QB rather quickly if I had to guess. Their scheme gets people open and makes it easy on playmakers. You could see that last night, even when balls were getting batted down at the LOS.

But he's the most exciting player in college football.... if you enjoy watching that backyard football crap from your qb....i personally enjoy watching a qb masterfully orchestrate an offense....the chess game of it all...the defense countering ..the qb counters back.....

But the bolded is why i dont put much weight into his or really any spread qb's numbers....often times the scheme does most of the heavy lifting for qbs in those types of systems and its easy as hell to look good as a qb in those types of systems.

As I sit here watching Russell Wilson vs Drew Brees on MNF, I'm thinking Johnny Manziel vs Aaron Murray.

LOL Manziel is Russell Wilson just because they are similar height?

They are literally not comparable in any way besides their height and that they are both athletic.

I don't buy that Murray is the next Brees either but at least they are somewhat similar.

I am going to ignore this simply becasue you know better.

You're actually being serious with the Manziel/Wilson stuff? I thought you were kidding...

I wasn't kidding and I don't think Gruden was kidding either, as much as the Manziel haters hate to hear this. And the scary thought is Manziel could be better than Wilson. Am I kidding or am I not?

Not everyone is a Manziel hater. I respect the hell out of that kid for what he has done at the college level, but his skills do not translate to the NFL. And to say that he could be better than Wilson just makes you look silly.

The Manziel lovers are just as bad as the Tebow lovers. Fewer in number, but close to home unfortunately.

I know you're not kidding...but i don't know how many people would actually take you serious though...

Wilson's game is light years smoother than Manziel's....that ain't something he picked up while in the pros either...dude had that calmness & poise in college too....The main reason i liked him coming out..

I tell you what too, Bridgewater's got that same poise.

Russell Wilson made Johnny Football some money last night.

It's up to JFF to make his own money. Wilson and Brees have opened the door for smaller guys to get a chance at QB. But nobody is going to hand Manziel squat just because Russell Wilson is a great QB.

I agree with the Manziel/Wilson comparison as far as size and athleticism goes. That's as far as I see the comparison going though. Wilson has unnatural poise and leadership skills, a much stronger arm, puts amazing touch on his passes, great accuracy, makes ridiculously quick decisions, and has much more experience as a QB and as a QB in a pro system.

Manziel compares more favorably to Eric Crouch than Russell Wilson. And I'm not saying this as a knock on Manziel's passing ability. He's a much better passer than Crouch ever was and I don't see him busting like Crouch did. But comparing Manziel to Wilson is going straight to the absolute best case scenario.

That's the main reason why I've been such a big proponent of Bridgewater. He has shown all the tools that you look for when drafting a QB, but it's the poise and intangibles that take him to the next level as a prospect. A lot of guys have tools and a lot of guys have intangibles. It's rare for a guy to have both.

Gruden made pretty clear in his comments about Wilson and Bevell last night that Wilson was not some sort of giant opening up of the floodgates to all people with similar stature and athleticism. His anecdote was Bevell sought advice and was told not to worry about his size if he thought he was a truly special person and player.

I am just passing that along. Others can argue over whether Manziel fits that same standard.

Spoken like the true Manziel hater that you're. I wouldn't have expected anything less. FLASH: Just because you don't think it will happen doesn't make it so. All it takes is one GM/HC to see and think that Manziel could do what Wilson is doing and you're wrong and the odds are against you being right. So yeah there is a good chance Wilson made Manziel some money, regardless of what you would like to be the outcome or how much you hate the thought of it being so.

LOL you are so ridiculous. It is impossible for you to have an honest argument about Johnny Manziel. I have been open about how I attended A&M and that I love JFF as a college player, but I just don't see his skills translating to the NFL. Every time your only response is "Manziel hater" when that's not even close to the truth.

You compare Manziel to Wilson because they are similar in size and athleticism, but you ignore the fact that they have different skill sets and don't play similar at all.

I could compare Tim Tebow to Andrew Luck because they are the same size and similar athletes, but I don't because they don't have the same skills and play nothing alike.

I simply made an innocent statement that Wilson made JF some money and then you went off on one of your tangents. So whose ridiculous? Why can't you just say this guy thinks JF compares to Wilson and leave it at that without completely losing it. DO you need the attention? There are many others who also consider the comparison. Do you like trolling my post? FLASH: Not everyone thinks like you or agrees with you and that doesn't make them wrong. NOTE: You keep ignoring that Gruden was saying the same thing. Why don't you take it up with Jon.

I was referencing when Tirico asked Gruden if Johhny Manziel compared to Russell Wilson? Gruden was effusive in his praise for Manziel, how much he did compare to Wilson and how the league was moving in the direction with this style of play.

So, anybody want a piece of Michigan State? Man oh man. I picked them to win tonight, but I wouldn't have predicted 17-0 in the 2nd quarter.

MSU ain't BS'ing.

Ohio State is a fraud. Thank goodness we don't have to see Florida State be crowned national champ after beating Ohio State.

I think Auburn will run all over Florida State.

BCS sucks.

Just posted in the other thread. MSU ain't BS'ing. I picked them tonight but geezus.

I don't think FSU is a bad team. In fact I would love to see them play MSU, but Stanford will screw that up.
