The DoppelColts are a franchise at a crossroads. We have ridden the Peyton Manning express as far as we could and now its time to start anew. With our first pick we picked an outstanding young man who we think can be our franchise QB going forward. With our second pick, we opted to take a versatile lineman with the ability to play OT or OG.
Our third round selection has been a real tough decision. There are so many really good players available that it was not a matter of picking a good player, it was picking the right player for the squad. With that in mind, we once again went BPA and we believe have come up with a winner.
We found a young man who is athletic and plays his position well. He is a high motor, high character guy who works hard and strives to get better every practice. At 6'3, 311lbs, he moves with speed and agility. He was a force to be reckoned with as he kept his QB clean and created massive holes in the run game. He has the versatility to play 3 OL positions. When all eyes were on him in his bowl game, he did not shirk and completely neutralized a certain well talked about DT from Washington.
So, without further ado, the DoppelColts are proud to present to you our third selection of the 2012 Texans Mock Draft: Mr. Phillip Blake!
