Two weeks left & there are many play-off battles still to come.

What are your thoughts on how the league did putting together the NFL Schedule?

I know many of the prime time games didn't pan out the way the league expected, Jets/Titans? c'mon... but as far as I know, there isn't any talk about resting players in week 16.

  • NO @ DAL
this game is important to both teams. New Orleans is basically out, but they're not going to quit until they are mathmatically out of it. With the final Wild-Card spot currently being occupied by Minnesota at 8-6 there is still a slim sliver of hope.

& Dallas needs this win to stay alive in the NFC East & also a shot at the final Wild Card.
  • TEN @ GB
The Pack is a game behind the 49rs looking for a first round bye.
  • MIN @ HOU
You know what's at stake here. The Vikings trying to stay alive as the 6th seed. Houston trying to secure HFA Throughout the play-offs.
  • NE @ JAC
New England trying to secure a first round bye, staying in the race for HFA
  • IND @ KC
The Colts are in the cat-birds seat in the Wild Card race. A loss here could make it interesting
  • WAS @ PHI
RG3 & co. playing for the division & the final Wild Card currently at 8-6
  • CIN @ PIT
I think this is the most intriguing of the divisional races. Baltimore is slipping, CIN is on the rise, PIT trying to stay relevant. All three can win the division. Only one of the remaining will be in the post season
  • CLE @ DEN
Currently the second seed, Denver looks to have it sewn up. But Cleveland ain't giving anything to anybody. They'll have to earn it. Defensively they're better than their stats suggest. This isn't a gimmie
  • CHI @ ARI
The Bears are struggling, but they still have a shot. They need this game to stay alive.
  • NYG @ BAL
This one is for all the marbles. The winner stays a live, the loser... will need a lot of help
  • SF @ SEA
If Seattle wins the NFC West won't be settled till week 17

This is going to be a big weekend, with lots of play-off implications. A lot of SNAFUs no doubt, but I can't remember a week 16 with this much play-off volatility.

The NFL wanted this when they started loading the back half of the season with division games. Seems like it working out. Lots of important games the final weeks of the season.

The NFL wanted what? For everything to be as it always has? The loading up of division games at the back doesn't make any difference.

The Texans will still rest their players against Indy, if they take care of business Sunday of course.

Atlanta will be resting players against Tampa.

Green Bay will likely be resting against Minnesota, and the Vikes will be fighting for a playoff spot.

The loading up of division games at the end didn't change anything with regards to trying to stop teams from resting players.

There's good matchups like there always has been. There's bad matchups like there always had been. Nothing has changed.
