Looks like the Vikings traded up. Wonder who they're targeting...
Yep. His answers in the press conference are impressing me. He's got a quiet yet obvious cockiness. If his attitude is contagious, he could be a huge presence on that defense.
Which means the Texans will grab a WR or QB...I doubt the Giants pick another RB so we should have plenty to chose from with our pick.
They can't be picking a RB since they got Andre Brown, right? Oh, who knows...

We pick....James Casey!! Alright Wtf!!!
I can't find any of our old threads about the draft... did they get deleted?
I think Smith is picking players that they really like and have a fit on this team. Love the Caldwell pick. The Glover Quin pick reminds me of the Jacoby Jones pick. Not because of their play but with the draft. Right after we took Quin, then David Bruton, Chip Vaughn immediately got selected. They obviously like him more than the other safeties available or DJ Moore the CB. This wasn't a pick I was expecting but I'll trust their judgement over the others.
The TE pick makes me think he's going to block and catch in the redzone. Seems like a guy the liked and chose him over a need.
I was preferring Andre Brown and Chip Vaughn with our two 4ths.
Quin was a first-team All-Mountain West selection last season after compiling 53 tackles, 4.5 for loss, along with five interceptions and 11 pass breakups. At the combine, he ran a 4.5 40-yard dash, benched 225 pounds 22 times and recorded a 38-inch vertical jump. He was a three-year starter at cornerback for the Lobos but has been projected as a possible free safety in the NFL.
"They told me I was coming in as a corner," Quin said of his conversations with Texans coaches. "I'm looking to play the nickel corner and just keep practicing and try to move into the starting lineup."
A native of Summit, Miss., Quin was honorable mention all-conference his first two seasons at New Mexico and was credited with two picks and 20 pass breakups. He began his career at Southwest Mississippi Junior College, redshirting his first season with a broken right arm.
"I think that you can always improve your defense with corners," general manager Rick Smith said on Wednesday before the draft. "I think youve got to take corners all the time. You look at the two drafts that Ive run so far, and Im going to always take corners because I dont think you can have enough guys that can cover and run and hit and do all those things that we ask them to do."
If Bomar is available, watch them draft him. If not, I'm going with...
James Casey.
